Marjorie walked back into the room behind everyone else. Her eyes scanned the room as she took in the situation. Even though she had a history of being oblivious, she could tell that Autumn was struggling with the number of people that were present. Marjorie made her way straight over to Autumn and took hold of her hand, squeezing her hand gently. She felt Autumn gently squeeze it back three times.

"Guys," Marjorie started to get everyone's attention. "Can everyone but Reece, Winter, and Mia need to leave and come back later. It's too crowded in here for when the nurse comes back. One of us will message you guys when it's a better time." Marjorie spoke as she felt Autumn gently squeeze her hand again. She wasn't about to admit to their friends that she knew Autumn was overwhelmed. The group of friends looked at each other before heading for the door while wishing congratulations to Autumn on the way. "Charlotte, you can stay with Mia if you want." Autumn told her as she was about to leave. Charlotte smiled softly before sitting down on one of the visitors' chairs.

"Thank you, Marjorie, that was a lot," she whispered before looking over at her baby girl, who was sleeping peacefully in Winters arms as he sat next to her. Autumn moved up slightly closer to winter so Marjorie could sit on the bed next to her. "Aut, we can't play three in a bed. There is just about enough room for you and Winter. Im okay standing." She told her while still holding her hand. "So what's her name?" Reece asks as he was watching intently as Winter stroked the baby's hand. "Well, we wanted it to be meaningful," she started nervously before looking at her lap. "Her name is Emerie Mae fortune Knight," she stated as she watched Reece and Mias reaction with a small smile. "You mean to tell me that im not even slightly involved in her name?" Marjorie took her hand away from Autumn's and just looked at her. "You dont get it, reece is my brother, and Mia is like a big sister. Marjorie, you will be auntie Marji, please don't leave me now." She explained quietly while trying to sit up more on the bed. Autumn was clearly in pain. "Aut, it's okay." Mia hushed as Winter moved so Mia could comfort her. "Marj, come and sit over here for a bit." Charlotte spoke calmly as she watched Marjories movements.

Mia pushed Autumn back against the bed gently and started running her nails through her hair. "You need to relax, sweetheart. i know you are hurting both mentally and physically, but you getting stressed won't help you. I know you like being able to sort everything yourself, but right now, you need to take some time." Mia whispered calmly as Autumn admitted defeat. "I was there for the birth and everything!" Marjorie scolded as Charlotte stood up. "Me and you are getting coffees." Charlotte  spoke confidently as she pulled Marjorie up and out the room. "I love her. i really do, just you and reece are family, but im going to spell Emery with an ie to include her in it." she said quietly as if she was embarrassed. Meanwhile, Winter had passed his daughter over to Reece. The blonde held the baby closely while looking at her. "She looks just like Aut did at this age but with darker hair." Reece mumbled as he smiled at the baby girl, aleep his arms.

It wasn't long till Marjorie strolled back into the room. Autumn sighed before snuggling into Mias embrace slightly. "Marjorie, would you like to hold her?" Autumn questioned quietly as she noticed where Marjories gaze stayed. She wanted to snap at Autumn and feel hurt, but she just couldnt, deep down, she knew every meaning behind that name, not just because they were her family. She knew how much Reece and Mia saved the little girl she once was, and she couldn’t hold it against her.

Marjorie sighed and walked over to Autumn, wrapping her arms around her carefully. "Im sorry," Marjorie whispered while tracing patterns on her back. Autumn visibly calmed down at the contact from her friend's touch.

Reece watched his sister closely as Marjorie practically hung from her. "Marj, incoming baby." Reece whispered as he made his way over to his wife. She sat herself on the end of  the bed as Reece placed the sleeping baby into her arms. "Hello, beautiful. " She cooed calmly while looking down at the baby in her arms. "Aut me, and winter will be back in a bit. If you need us, just call." Reece told her as Autumn nodded slightly before turning her attention to Marjorie and her daughter.

"Now this is your auntie Marji,  she will be the one to go to after i say no because im sure she will spoil you endlessly" Autumn whispered as she moved her leg just enough to get Marjories attention to make sure she was listening. "I will love her more than you will ever realise." She mumbled before moving slowly and passing her to Mia. "On the topic, Emery isn't spelt the same as how Reece spells it. I've changed the y to an ie, so it's partly your name." Autumn whispered quietly while Marjorie looked at her in shock. Tears welled up in Marjories eyes as she moved towards Autumn, wrapping her arms around her tightly. "Marj, careful with her, please." Charlotte spoke calmly, getting their attention.

Autumn watched Mia as she looked over at the couple. "And this is your auntie Mimi. She will be the one you can go to for anything.  She will protect you no matter what has happened. Mimi also isn't as scary as she may seem. she's a teddy bear at heart, " Autumn whispered quietly with a smirk on her face. "I love you too little, sis." Mia told her before moving closer to Charlotte.

Autumn sat quietly as she watched Mia and Charlotte with her daughter. At that moment, Marjorie moved again and climbed into the space beside Autumn before wrapping her arms around her, snuggling into the other woman. Autumn sighed before moving slowly so Marjorie could get comfortable. "Im so proud of you." Marjorie whispered as Autumn nodded slightly. "Thank you," she whispered back. "Now, please rest. I know you are exhausted." Marjorie whispered as she played with Autumn's hair gently. Charlotte pulled the covers over them both. "We have Emerie,  it's okay," Charlotte spoke confidently as Autumn's eyes fluttered closed.
