"Jump." Mia whispered calmly as she watched Charlotte face change from loving to confusion. "I will catch you." She mumbled. Charlotte took a shaky breath before jumping up and wrapping her legs around Mia's waist. Of course mia caught her with ease, one hand under her bottom and the other hand sat gently on her back.

Mia carried Charlotte carefully towards their bedroom. Just as Mia went to put Charlotte down she clung on tighter, pushing the redhead of balance. She couldn't stop herself from falling.

Mia landed ontop of Charlotte on the bed. "Ow" Charlotte muttered dramaticly. "Baby I am so sorry, i was going to put you down but we didn't let go. Where dose it hurt sweetheart?" The redhead hushed while trying to look after Charlotte. "You have a hard head." She whispered before rubbing her shoulder. Mia sighed as she moved slowly. "Let me see baby." She hushed while placing gentle kisses on her cheek.

Charlotte moved slowly, giving Mia access. The redhead placed kisses to her girlfriend's shoulder before sighing. "Baby, whats wrong?" Charlotte questioned quietly before taking hold her girlfriends hand. "Their mum came back." She whispered before swallowing back her tears. "But he didnt come back."

Charlotte wrapped her arms around Mia holding her close. She felt tears falling onto her shoulder but said nothing.

"He promised! He said he would come back! She came back for them but he didnt come for me!" She seethed before pushing herself away from Charlotte. She went to move to stand up next to Mia but she snapped. "Don't come with me, leave me alone! Just go away!" She yelled before slamming the bathroom door and locking it.

Charlotte sighed before picking up her phone, making her way downstairs. She sat herself on the couch before scrolling absent mindedly through her phone. She hated that she couldn't help her girlfriend but she knew that if she didn't give Mia the space she needed she would try and run away.

"Mummy?" A quiet voice broke though the silence. Charlotte's eldest daughter stood in the doorway, tears in her eyes. "Oh darling, whats happened?" Charlotte questioned quietly while making room on the couch for her daughter, patting the empty space next to her.

Grace crossed the room before sitting on the edge of the couch next to her mum. Charlotte reached out and pulled her daughter closer. "I heard you and mum shouting. I don't want to lose you or her." She mumbled nervously while tears rolled down her cheeks. "Something happened at work and shes feeling a lot of emotions and just needed some space." Charlotte spoke calmly while combing her fingers through her daughters hair. "She told you to leave her alone and slammed the door and now you are here." She spoke as her voice broke.

"I know sweetheart but it's okay. We are okay. lets get you back to bed and i will go and talk to Mia." Charlotte whispered before moving, picking up her daughter.

Just as they made it upstairs, mia came out of their shared bedroom. Her red locks were dripping wet and she was wearing one of Charlotte's tshirts. "Oh sweetheart, whats wrong?" Mia asked Grace, the young girl was cuddled into her mothers chest, the same way she had done since she was a baby.

Grace sighed and shook her head quickly. "Mummy you tell her." She whispered. Charlotte could tell that her daughter was nervous about them shouting again. She had alway been such a sensitive child and cared about everyone with her whole heart. "Darling I will be in with you in a while, let me get Gracey settled again and then we can talk." She hushed, rubbing her daughters back before taking her daughter back to bed.

Charlotte layed her daughter down before moving to lay next to her. "I don't want to talk to mum and make her more angry." Grace mumbled, while cuddling into her mother. "She would never be mad at you darling. She loves you with her whole heart." Charlotte spoke calmly. "I can go and get her if you want? But i promise that she loves us all no matter what we say. Sometimes we just need space and that was her way of saying im angry and i need space. Just like when you shout at Elise to leave you alone. You still love her but she just annoys you." Charlotte whispered, Grace nodded slowly. "I need to speak to mum." She mumbled.
