"Can i come with you?" She questioned quietly as she fought back the tears that threatened to fall. "Babe, I'm going to the toilet. Can't you wait here?" He asked softly while moving slowly off the bed. Marjorie sighed before nodding slightly and wrapping herself up in the duvet.

Minutes later, Reece made his way back to their shared bedroom, catching sight of his wife. "I'm back." He whispered softly before climbing into bed next to her. Marjorie moved quickly, wrapping herself around him tightly.

"Marj, whats happened? You are very clingy today." Reece whispered but Marjorie shook her head at him. She refused to tell him what was going on, it was still such a sensitive subject even though it all happened years ago.  "Talk to me or i will get Aut here and make her talk to you. I know she will get it out of you." He warned before moving towards his phone.

Marjorie shook her head. "I am fine!" She raised her voice at him as he dialed his sisters number. "I dont need or want to talk to her. I just want cuddles." She mumbled before rolling over as Autumn answered the phone.

She kept still, listening closely to the conversation that Reece was having with Autumn. This wasn't what she wanted. "Babe, Autumn wants to talk to you." He whispered softly while holding out his phone but instead of taking it like she normally would she shook her head. "Darling it's Aut." He whispered again. "I don’t want to talk to her." She mumbled but once again Reece didn't listen. He just put the phone on loud speaker before leaving the room.

A silence filled the room, making Marjorie curl in on herself even more. "Marj, talk to me. Whats going on?" Autumn questioned quietly, her tone a lot softer than normal.  The other woman sighed before moving slowly. "Its that time of the month but i can't tell Reece. I just can't and i just want cuddles because it hurts but he keeps moving away." Marjorie whispered sadly.

"When i get my hands on your mother" Autumn seethed before taking a breath. "I can tell him for you but you need to talk to him aswell. He is your husband,  he will understand. He used to look after both me and Mia growing up. Sometimes we were on at the same time so that month his life was hell with our mood swings."

Marjorie sighed, tears in her eyes. "I'm not telling him nothing, just because you grew up with someone in your life that cared doesn't mean everyone did." Just as she snapped Reece walked back into the room. "To far!" He warned before picking up his phone, taking it off loud speaker and walking away as he spoke calmly to his sister.

Once the bedroom door clicked shut, tears rolled down Marjorie's cheeks. Soon enough her pillow was damp. Her eyes fluttered again as she layed in bed, completely drained and in pain.

Marjorie had always struggled with her periods. The cramps were brutal and her flow was constantly heavy. She never had someone to look after her growing up so the more the pain progressed, the more she struggled to hide it.

Marjorie was so wrapped up in her thoughts, she didn't hear how the door opened, or hear Reece walk into the room. It wasn't until her husband sat on the bed and it moved next to her, did she know he was there. "Darling, come here. Please talk to me because i know you would never talk like that to Aut for no reason." As Reece went to hold Marjorie's hand, she pulled away from him before moving off the bed and standing up.

Her whole body shook as she stood in the middle of the room. "I just wanted cuddles but that was to much to ask. How can i tell you anything when you cant even do that!" She yelled before making her way into the bathroom, slamming the door shut before locking it.

Reece stood there in shock. This was so out of character for his wife. She was normally softly spoken as yelling about anything would upset her and Reece knew that she would always flinch at the sound of a door slamming.

The blonde moved back out of the bedroom. He knew that asking her questions now would be pushing her to far. Sometimes Marjorie just needed some space before talking about anything. Especially when her emotions were running high.

The only thing Reece thought of was calling his sister. Yes, of course Autumn complains constantly about Marjorie, but deep down everyone knew they were best friends. The phone rang twice before Autumn answered. Reece spoke before his sister could say anything.  "Aut, i know you are Marjorie are scarily close, did she open up to you earlier?" He questioned quietly so Marjorie wouldn't hear. "Reece, its her time of the month. You know that she needs support and a lot of it. I would love to meet her mother." Autumn told him confidently. "That all makes sense now." He muttered.

Autumn sighed as she listened to her brother. "Just do the same that you did for me and mia. Hot water bottle, pj days, stock up on supplies. You know, chocolate and her appletiser. Just don't be a dick." She warned before hanging up.

After listening to Autumn, he went to the kitchen to pick up some chocolate and an appletiser before moving back upstairs. There was no surprise that Marjorie was still in the bathroom. Reece placed everything on her bedside table before moving towards the bathroom, gently knocking on the door. "Darling, can you open the door please? Listen I've spoken to Aut and I know what this week is."

"She had no right telling you!" Marjorie exclaimed back before moving slowly to unlock the door. "You aren't ment to know." She sobbed while opening the door and looking up at Reece. He moved first, wrapping his arms around her. "Im glad i know because now i can look after you and treat you like a princess without you thinking im suspicious." He hushed.

Marjorie clung to her husband as he lifted her into his arms before moving towards the bed. "Cuddles in bed for a while and then later we can head downstairs for some food." He explained confidently, leaving no room for arguments. "Darling,  let me make you a hot water bottle." He hushed but she shook her head. "No."

As time passed, Marjorie clung to Reece more and more but didn't say anything. He held her close before rolling onto his back, pulling her ontop of him. "Ive got you darling." Reece whispered while moving one hand lower to rub her back. "You're in pain aren't you?" Marjorie didn't move, she couldn't admit anything like that.

The pair sat in silence for a while. "E-e-everything hurts but you shouldn't know about that. This is meant to be something that only i know." She mumbled nervously while keeping her face hidden in Reece's chest. Reece ran his hand through her hair gently. "What about Aut? Darling she knows." Reece hushed gently. Marjorie sighed in defeat. "I asked her for a pad once, she must have kept track or something? I hate that she knows." Marjorie mumbled nervously.

Of course Reece noticed that his wife was overthinking. "Hey, its okay. People are allowed to know and they are allowed to look after you." He hushed while holding her close. Reece sighed as he felt his shoulder getting damp. Tears rolled down Marjorie's cheeks. "Im g-g-going back to sleep." She sobbed while trying to move away.

As she rolled out of Reece's arms and onto the mattress, she felt the cold of the sheets sink into her skin. "Can i touch you?" Reece questioned quietly, watching how his wife nodded slightly before leaning against him once again. "I've got you beautiful. Try and get some sleep." He spoke calmly.

Hours passed when Marjorie finally stired awake, nuzzling into Reeces chest once again. "Thank you for not leaving me." She mumbled just loud enough for him to hear. "I would never leave you beautiful."
