A/N This just came to mind right now so don't judge if it's awful!

Phoenix.

That was the name of the person Garroth had been searching for ever since he got his promotion in be academy, which was three years ago.

They had stolen jewels from jewelry stores across O'Khasis.

They had robbed pricy paintings from museums.

They had caused town wide havoc in the town of O'Khasis.

And now, Garroth would finally catch the Phoenix.

He had placed a trap: O'Khasis museum was housing a painting by the name of Starry Night, and Garroth was certain the Phoenix would be there to take it.

Garroth parked outside of the museum in his blue truck, not wanting to seem as if there was extra security. But in reality, he had everything to stop this crook.

People began to scream and exit the museum, which was Garroth's cue. He ran inside the museum and ordered it to be on lockdown.

"All the exits are guarded and shut down, sir." Said Laurence, his second-in-command. Garroth nodded.

"Perfect. All we need to do is bring this, Phoenix, to justice." Garroth said, walking around the now dark museum.

It was very silent, and Garroth had his flashlight out for protection. He heard a creaking noise behind him, and turned around immediately. Garroth was tackled to the ground, his arms and legs pinned down by a pair of hands and feet. He struggled against the grip.

"Who are you?" Garroth asked. The person wore a black skintight suit, along with a black mask that covered the area around their eyes and her nose. You could only see their white smile and their caramel eyes.

"Well well... If it isn't that cop who's been chasing me around an entire three years. That takes dedication, ya know." The person said.

Garroth recognized the voice as a girl's voice.

"A girl?" He asked. The girl smirked.

"What? Can't a woman be bad every once in a while?" Asked the girl.

"What connection have you of the Phoenix?" Asked Garroth, trying to get this girl off him. She smiled.

"Is that what they're calling me? Honestly, they could do better." The girl scoffed. Garroth's eyes widened.

"You're the Phoenix?!" He cried. The girl grinned.

"Yep." She said. Garroth opened his mouth to yell out and alert the security, but the girl quickly covered his mouth with her hand.

"Ah ah ah! I'm not about to let you alert the others. What kind of a criminal would I be then?" She asked, smirking. Garroth tried biting her hand, but she cupped it just enough so he wouldn't be able to.

"Mhrrmmmmrrrrhhhhmmmm!!" Garroth cried out a muffled yell. The girl rolled her eyes.

"I didn't want it to have to come to this, but.... You leave me no choice." She said, raising her fist.

A pain entered Garroth's head, and everything went black.

Garroth fluttered his eyes open and looked around. He was seated in a chair, and his hands were tied behind his back. His ankles were also tied to the legs of the chair. Garroth's chair was in the center of a dark room, with a single light flooding through the room. He was no longer wearing his uniform, but now had on a suit.
