A/N So apparently I haven't been making any romance in this story. SORRY.

Anyways, I have to end this by at the most, 10 chapters. So I'll try and make this work. If it ends up too much like insta-love (which I despise more then Prince Hans) I'm very sorry.

TO THE STARTS. (I'm watching Barney)

Aphmau sat silently at the breakfast table with Zane, Vlyad and Garroth. The boys were looking down at their plates, scraping their forks against their plates. It pained Aphmau's heart to see the boys upset.

Before falling asleep the night before, Aphmau had burned the letter meant for Garte. It may seem a bit psychotic, but she knew it was for their own good. Aphmau didn't want any memories of their father to haunt them.

Another thing she did was take the picture frame and throw it in the river. Aphmau had taken the picture out and hidden it in her phone case, folding it neatly into the fit of the case and putting her phone over top of it.

Now here she was, sat in front of the three boys. Zianna was in her room, no one had heard any word from her yet.

"So what are we gonna do today?" Asked Aphmau, faking a smile

".... I'm going to meditate all day." Vlyad sighed, pushing his untouched plate away from himself and standing up.

"I can meditate with you—!"

"It's alright. I'd rather do this on my own." Vlyad decided, walking up the stairs to his room, rejecting Aphmau's offer to cheer him up.

Zane stood up. "I'm gonna go raid another dungeon."

"Want me to play too—"

"I'm fine." Snapped Zane as he walked up the stairs as well. The sound of steps was followed by a door slam.

Then Aphmau turned to Garroth, sighing. "Are you gonna leave me alone too?" Asked Aphmau.

"I think I'll stay with you." Decided Garroth, smirking.

"You're not gonna be sad?" Asked Aphmau.

"Why spend time being upset when you can spend time being happy for everything else?" Asked Garroth, shrugging. "Come on, let's go outside." Garroth said.

Aphmau followed Garroth outside, and they walked to the chicken coop. Garroth opened the door, allowing Aphmau to go inside before him.

"I wanted to show you something." He said smiling, taking Aphmau's hand and leading her to a small glass box.

Inside the glass box were about ten small eggs. Aphmau widened her eyes.

"Wow! When do they hatch?"

"Well, that's why I wanted to bring you."  Said Garroth, motioning his head towards the box.

An egg started to shake, gaining a small crack on the brown egg shell. Aphmau gasped, making Garroth look over and smile. The egg continued to crack and break, until a small beak broke out.

"Oh my Irene!" Aphmau gasped, grinning.

"We can't pick him up yet." Garroth sighed. "We have to leave him to get out of the rest of his shell and to get used to the warmth, along with the other chicks."

Aphmau nodded, following Garroth outside.

"What do you wanna do now?"

"Well, I—"
