the blind calum and luke had just bought their first house together, after two years of their relationship, and the house was extremely gorgeous and antique — not that calum could see that — but it was moving day and luke was too protective of his precious calum and refused him to help move and luke and michael are carrying the couch in when they hear piano music
and luke knew there was an old one down the hall
so michael almost screamed, a ghost — he swears,
and luke grabs a nearby umbrella out of a box and slowly walks down the hall, and he turns the corner and peeks in the room, almost dropping the umbrella when he sees calum at the piano,
and oh god he played so perfectly, fluidly, magically,
and luke's mouth dropped open and he took a step in, it was so..unbelievable
'baby?'
calum stopped playing and jumped, retracting his hands off the keys like they were burning his skin
'sorry.' he whispered
luke shook his head 'sorry?' he squeaked 'that was, perfect.' he whispered and calum blushed and bit his lip and luke walked over and sat next to him on the bench
'where'd you learn to play?'
calum smiled and giggled, thinking of a past memory
'my grandma..she said she got too old to play so she taught me so i could play for her.'
luke cracked a smile and kissed his cheek
'you're amazing.' he whispered
'i'm no stevie wonder--'
'doesn't matter,' he whispered and calum blushed,
and fuck moving in, they spent the rest of the night at the piano, and told the moving company they wanted to keep it.
