'honey babe, what're you up to?'
calum smiled down at his sketch book when hearing luke down the hallway--
luke loved pet names, nick names, whatever you like to call them. he definitely had more than a thousand for calum because they couldn't be too extravagant or too cliché — oh, honey by itself sounds like an old couple, and babe is too cliché for you, so, my little honey babe — calum had smiled at that one, it was cute, just like any other name luke had thought of
'angel..' he sang with a whine 'come cuddle me.' he smushed his cheek against the doorframe and pouted at him and calum blushed
'i'm sketching.'
'and i'm lonely without my lil doll.'
calum smiled
'so many names, lucas.'
'hm?'
calum looked up at him with a smile
'i realized you call me so many different names.'
luke shrugged 'so?'
'it's cute.'
honey babe, baby, baby doll, love, lil baby, lil love, lil munchkin, cutie pie, pumpkin, sweetheart, baby cakes, angel, angel of mine — that was a favorite —, petal, shorty, and so, so many more
'i gotta think of a new one.' he closed his eyes and thought, his fingers tapping against the doorframe 'hmmm...'
calum giggled
'cuddle cakes.'
calum grinned
'yup, that works. c'mere cuddle cakes.'
calum sprung up with a giggle and jumped into his arms, stepping on luke's toes as he walked — like a little kid — and luke walked him into the living room, kissing and nuzzling into his hair and calum smiled, clinging onto him
'angel of mine, you are so little.' he smiled and mumbled and calum blushed, nuzzling into his chest and they plopped on the couch, calum laying on top of luke and listening to his heartbeat.
