Chapter 6 - Goryeo Hyeonjong

Mooyeon's POV

"Year 91 of Goryeo." Jimin said.

"... Sorry I shouldn't have asked." I answered hesitantly.

Jimin stayed silent and didn't bother to look at me more than needed.

I should have known that they wouldn't answer me seriously. Goryeo his ass. These two aren't normal but more than dangerous. Should I try to escape? I think it would be better if I leave them as far as possible and search for help.

"Don't even try to escape." Taehyung said all of a sudden. "We won't have mercy just because you're female. So be smart and follow us."

"Dude, you just scared the hell out of me!" I complained.

He just smirked... so he is even crazy AND arrogant at the same time.

"...douchebag..." I murmured to myself.

"Douche what?" he asked.

"Nothing" I faked a smile.

How did he hear me???

After three minutes of walking we arrived a path.

So I came from city to the farthest wilderness?

There we joined a bunch of people. Most of them were disguised as soldiers while the others looked like servants or something like that from history dramas.

One of them caught my eye. Out of all people he was wearing the most luxurious robe. It was gold and the embroidery looked handmade.

What was he? The king? That's ridiculous. I think he's just the leader of these strange psychos.

After all there was still not even one who was normal.

I sighed.

"Taehyung! I'm glad to see you being fine." the Big Boss said.

Suddenly Taehyung and Jimin kneeled down and lowered their heads. Well, I shouldn't be surprised anymore.

"Taehyung is late for guard and acted unauthorized by bringing this stranger. Please forgive. This person appeared out of nowhere and fell from the sky. JeonHa may want have a look." Taehyung shouted.

Someone cure this guy. How long does he want to keep acting?

"As you can see everything's alright. I'm unharmed so don't be sorry. You say this kid fell from the sky?" the Big Boss replied.

Everyone was staring at me and whispered something to each other. Stop staring it's really uncomfortable. Don't you know that it's impolite?

"How does this shoddy creature dare to not kneel down while seeing the TaeJa?" The tallest shouted at me. He was wearing the same clothes as Taehyung and Jimin.

TaeJa whaaat?

"Namjoon, you're scaring her." the claiming-to-be-a-TaeJa said.

Wow, now they're forcing me to play WITH them.

"Could you please tell us who you are and why you're here?" TaeJa asked turning to me.

"Why don't you introduce yourself first?" I blurted.

"This disrespectful tone! Taehyung! What kind of brat did you just bring?" another one shouted angrily. And you are? What's with all these shouting anyways?

"You're right, Hoseok. I'm very sorry, JeonHa. I was about to kill her but Taehyung said that she was his life saver. It's my fault, I didn't stop him properly." Jimin said.

I can't anymore these people are too much.

"Now stop being that ridiculous I'm not mad. She's right though. I should introduce us first." TaeJa said calming the others down.

"My name is Wangsun, better known as the current TaeJa, Goryeo Hyeonjong. You should know this name."

"No I don't" I answered blankly. I was unmotivated to hear more.

"Is that so? I'm the brother of our King, Goryeo Mokjong and the nephew of Cheonchu TaeHoo."

So... TaeJa, King, TaeHoo? They are indeed very creative.

"And the people who are all staring at you are my servants. You already know Taehyung-DaeJang and Jimin-DaeJang right? The others here beside me are: Jeon Jungkook, Kim Seokjin, Min Yoongi, Jung Hoseok and Kim Namjoon. They are all JangGuns of a high rank and charged to protect me on the way to the palace."

"As if... wait" I wanted to say that they were all telling bullshit until I remembered something.

"These names... I can swear that I've heard them somewhere before..."

"You do?" Hoseok asked surprised.

"Yeah... there's no doubt..." I whispered to myself while searching for something in my bag.

"Watch out, TaeJa! She might be searching for a weapon." the DaeJang beside of TaeJa said. I remember his name was Kim Seokjin. Argh these names sound so familiar.

Everyone was holding their swords tight as if they were ready to defend the TaeJa. Am I that frightening? I ignored them and continued searching.

Just where is it? ... Ah there!

I found my history book and went through the pages.

"Now let's see page 37... In the year 1009, Goryeo Hyeonjong became the 8th ruler of the Goryeo dynasty in Korea after his cousin Goryeo Mokjong got dethroned with the support of General Gangjo. Mokjong's reign lasted for 12 years but under the influence of his mother Cheonchu TaeHoo.

In the year 1010 the Khitan invasion started. The group which fought against it was formed by the King's closest DaeJangs: Kim Namjoon, Min Yoongi, Kim Seokjin, Jung Hoseok, Park Jimin, Jeon Jungkook and Kim Taehyung..." I read.

I took a glance at all of them. They looked very surprised by that what I just read.

"I think your prank has a big mistake. You all say it's the year 91 of Goryeo. Goryeo was founded in the year 918 by King Taejo. 918 plus 91 equals 1009. Shouldn't you already be King now?"

I think now I made them all completely confused. Everyone looked dumbfounded. Whispers and murmurs escalated through the whole place.

"Did I say something wrong? It's all written in my history book. It can't be wrong. These are all things I should know for today's test you know?" I said raising my brows. "Hey what are you doing?!"

Taehyung snatched the book from my hands to check the page.

This douchebag! I really wanted to give him a slap. I would have done it if he wasn't holding a sword.

"JeonHa" he started "I can't decipher anything from this book. It doesn't look like Goryeo language nor British."

Taehyung handed my book over to the TaeJa without my permission.

The TaeJa looked at my book and thought deeply.

"So... a mysterious girl... fell from the sky...clothes I've never seen before... a book with an unknown writing system... but the most important thing is... she seems to can prophesy the future..." TaeJa grinned.

Why is he staring at me like that now?
