Chapter 75 - Gaee's Holiday

Gaee's POV

I was eating my apple casually while the sighs and groans of the kids were disturbing me.

"Life is hard enough, what's with the groaning? It doesn't make it better." I commented.

"We aren't groaning, Master. Maybe we are a little bit more depressive in character. But Master, how comes that you are so happy everyday?" Dooboo asked me.

"You want me to teach you? Well then: The happiest person doesn't need any reason for being happy and still, he can be happy. Just happy for the happiness. I decide to be happy, so I'm happy. Happiness is that easy. Look at me, how happy I am!" I cheered.

"Yes." Ddeokddeok replied. "I think if we were more like Master then we could also be that happy."

"If you want we can also switch, let me carry you." I suggested to the three kids below me. "I would be OK with that. You can be my trainer, I can be your trainee. Let me carry you."

"We don't dare." Galbi said.

"It's OK."

"We don't dare." Dooboo repeated.

"I allow you that."

"We really don't dare." they all called in unison.

"So what are you saying?" I used a light annoyed tone. "Look, you are only 10 years old, you didn't experience the trash in life, didn't meet the girl that jumbles your hormones. Now, I just let you carry me for 2 steps and you are already shaking and out of breath. You must all lack in calcium."

"We don't lack in calcium but lack in water." Ddeokddeok answered. "If we can't drink any water soon, I think... we will be lack in oxygen soon."

"Oh, you want water? Then walk faster." I ordered.

Soon, we were making a break by the pool and the kids all sat down in front of me.

"What?" I blankly asked.

"We want to hear the next lesson, Master." Dooboo responded eagerly.

"Really, I don't understand you kids. I've been treating you like shit, even letting you carry me the last mile. Why are you still following me?" I asked them with a deep frown.

"Because Ahjussi is our role model." Dooboo answered.

OK, stop. I'm not that old yet, you little brat.

"We also want to be as cool as Master." DdeokDdeok continued.

"And we also want to listen to more of Master's stories." Galbi smiled.

I looked at them and tilted my head in disbelief.

"I'm sorry, so it's all my fault." I complained and ate another apple.

"Master Gaee!" DdeokDdeok called.

"What?" I was really annoyed of them.

"Why did you give us these names by the way?" he asked all of the sudden.

"I was hungry, OK? We have meat, tofu and rice cake: a perfect meal. Do you think it's easy to remember the names of triplets? Deal with it." I layed myself down.

The triplets nodded their head in agreement and widened their eyes as if they just gained new knowledge.

"So... Master?" Dooboo asked this time.

"Hm?" I reacted even though I was trying to take a nap.

"You told us the story about Yeonjae and Mongtae before. So when are we going to DaeGu as Mongtae told you?" he asked.
