Chapter 77 - SamBoMiHwanSan

Hyangin's POV

Taehyung is going to the extreme for Joo Mooyeon now. I've been watching him for a while.

He doesn't leave her side for even a short moment, playing the silent hero.

"Taehyung, how can you be so cruel to me? I already tore my heart out for you, but you still refuse to look at me once. You know that I can witness everything, how dare you show all your love for her in front of me?" I murmured to myself.

"Joo Mooyeon! Just wait. Something that I can't have, don't expect that I'll let you have it. Kim Taehyung, you hurt my feelings first so don't blame me to be cruel. I would rather betray the whole world than leave them to betray me."

"Lee Hyangin!" I heard my name being called and I was brought back to reality.

To my surprise, Kang DaeBoo was already standing beside me.

"Oh, Kang DaeBoo. Have you been here for a long time? Did you hear anything I said?" I asked nervously.

I should get rid of the habit to talk to myself that often.

"No? Did you say anything?" he replied and I felt more than relieved.

"Nothing important. Is there something I can help you?" I smiled.

"It's not urgent, though. I just wanted to know whether the medicine I gave you last time worked or not." he grinned.

It has been months since that time when I asked for the SuEun. Why is he asking me that all of the sudden?

"Yes, of course." I lied. "You're a great doctor, Kang DaeBoo. I have to thank you again."

"You're welcome. So, uhm... is there any of the SuEun left? I gave you a little bit too much and I assumed that there must be some leftovers." he grinned awkwardly.

Of course there's nothing left anymore. I already put all of them into the soup Kim Heechul gave to the prisoners. This old fart is definitely trying to find out something from my words. If that's the case than he must be sent by Vincent Magot because Kim Heechul already knows everything about my plan back then. But why didn't Heechul tell his Master? The fact that he covered me was strange enough. Does that mean that Heechul isn't really working for the Earl?

"Miss Lee? Did you hear me?" Kang DaeBoo called and I just realized that I was thinking for too long.

"Oh, yes. The SuEun you mean? Of course there are still some leftovers. But it's been so long, I don't really remember where I stored it anymore. Give me some time and I'll search for it." I lief and this answer seemed to  have satisfied him, considering that he left me alone afterwards.

I should better search for a chance to buy some SuEun from the market.

Gaee's POV

"Did you see, kids? This woman doesn't show any professionality. This dumbass is just too silly to believe her. Good liars would never show so many signs that they are lying. She is a shame for our branch." I told the kids while we were secretly observing the scene.

"But Master..." Galbi started but I cut him off.

"How often do I have to tell you? Here, you have to call me Noona!" I glared at them.

"But... Noona... urgh my whole body doesn't feel good anymore by calling you that." he got goosebumps.

"Why?" I looked at him darkly, knowing what he was about to say.

"Because you're the ugliest woman we've ever seen." Dooboo dared to answer and I gave each of the triplets a hard slap on the head.

"Noona, we only want to know why we are following this woman over there. Aren't we supposed to search for Kim Taehyung and Jeon Jungkook? The scary JangGuns would kill us if they found out that we aren't doing the job properly." Ddeokddeok asked, holding his head.
