Chapter 80 - Troubles

Mooyeon's POV

"Jungkook?" I was shocked, as well as the rest of the people in my room.

"Sorry, Mooyeon. I caused you to have false hopes." he gently smiled at me.

I couldn't say anything.

So Jungkook was Mongtae, the one I hanged out with? He pretented to be mute and watched me the whole time?

"Isn't he one of the JangGuns who trespassed into my mansion the last time?" Vincent frowned, he also didn't expect Jungkook to be the one behind the mask.

"Yes, Master. His name is Jeon Jungkook. Guess that we received false information." Heechul answered.

False information... Who told them that Taehyung would be here?

"Didn't I say that you should never show up again? Aren't you afraid that I would kill you?" Vincent asked and the soldiers raised their swords against Jungkook.

"Jungkook!" I held his hand, afraid that Vincent would do something to him.

Jungkook gave me a reassuring smile and loosened my hand to stand in front of me.

"I'm very sorry for walking through your mansion without your permission, Earl. I just came because I and my Hyungs were all curious about Mooyeon's well-being. You know, she had to experience the loss of someone who's been really important to her, it surely would cause our worries. You didn't let us know anything about her, that's why I had to use this method to be on the safe side." Jungkook answered confidently.

"You mean that Kim Taehyung is dead?" Vincent asked a little bit irritated.

"Of course." Jungkook chuckled. "Did you forget? You killed him yourself."

"Master." Heechul interfered. "Shouldn't we kill him?"

Vincent thought for a while and I hadn't much time to think of something.

I started to hold my stomach, pretending that I was in light pain.

"Mooyeon, are you alright?" Jungkook asked and Gaee also came to my side.

"Gaee, play along." I signalled and he understood me immediately.

"Oh Heaven, Lady Mooyeon. You've been shocked, it must have affected the baby. You have to rest now!" Gaee used his fake female voice and acted dramatical.

"I'm alright. I just remembered someone I wanted to forget." I faked my crying and peered at Vincent's reaction.

"We should spare him for this time. I don't want to make trouble to Mooyeon. She still bears my child." I heard Vincent say.

"I'm sorry, Mooyeon. I shouldn't have slapped you. You must be heartbroken. I didn't know that you were about to forget that man." he softened his voice.

I blankly looked at Vincent, not showing any emotion. "You can't break my heart anymore, Vincent. It's already dead... with the person I love the most."

Vincent didn't know anything to respond and left me, knowing that my mood would just get worse if he stayed.

I heaved a sigh of relief, but what Vincent said before was still stuck in my head.

"I'm really happy to see you again, Mooyeon." Jungkook hugged me tightly.

"Stop it, you'll squash the baby!" Gaee, screamed, still with that ugly female voice. "Do you know how worried your Hyungs are for you? I'm forced to wear these clothes just because of you!"

"Sorry, Gaee. I had enough of sitting around and I really wanted to see her."

I giggled. "I'm also happy to see you again, Jungkook." I said but I was still a little bit disappointed.
