Chapter 30 - Nightmare And Reality

Taehyung's POV

"I hate Kim Taehyung."

"Mooyeon... No Mooyeon please!" I shouted. But I was getting more far away from her.

"He promised me to cherish me for as long as he lives, to love me, protect me and place me above all else. He lied to me! There's no one I hate more than him!" she said.

I was running... I ran as quickly as possible to reach her but the distance between us got bigger and bigger...

"MOOYEON!" I shouted loudly.

I panted hard and found out that I just got up from bed.

"A nightmare?" I asked myself.

I guided my hand through my hair.

I sweated like I just went out from the bath.

I heaved a long sigh.

"It's maybe because of the thunderstorm. As long as it's just a dream." I said to myself and layed back, looking up at the ceiling.

I indeed said that to her. It wasn't just a promise. I meant that. I'm willing to place her above all else but if a situation happens where I really have to decide between JeonHa's order and her...

I put my hands behind my head and closed my eyes, thinking...

I followed JeonHa because of his kindness and because he is perfect to be the King. In the end it's all for the folk. Everything JeonHa does or decides has its reason. We are just his meeple.

"JeonHa appreciates our relationship. There's no way he would tear us apart." I comforted myself.

I closed my eyes and as I was about to let myself drift into sleep a loud noise stopped me.

"Taehyung! Taehyung Wake up! It's not the time to sleep!" I heard Jungkook's voice while he just crashed into my room.

"Jungkook, what's wrong with you? It's midden in the night and it's pouring outside!" I complained.

"Don't chit-chat with me about the weather! Heechul kidnapped Mooyeon again!" he yelled, shaking me.

I glared at him when I heard that. I immediately stood up and grabbed him by his collar.

"It's not the time for joking, Jungkook! Where is Heechul? Why did he come back? How should he have kidnapped her? ANSWER ME, JUNGKOOK?!" I growled.

"Mooyeon was crying and didn't want me to be by her side. She said she needed some space alone and ran away. I did follow her but lost her. I just got a message of Heechul telling me that she is in his hands. He even told me where they are right now." Jungkook explained.

"Where are they?" I asked and at the same time I took my clothes and prepared my weapons, ready to go.

"HEECHUL, YOU BASTARD! OPEN THE GATE AND LET ME IN! Do you even dare to call yourself a man? Open the gate and fight with me!!!" I hammered on the gate, roaring.

Soon the gate finally was opened by some guards I've never seen before.

I saw Heechul elegantly walking out of the building which made me want to storm in to punch him but Jungkook blocked my way.

"Listen, Taehyung. This place is full of Heechul's people. If we do something they don't like he would definitely order his servants to go inside and finish her! So what you need to do now is calm down." Jungkook explained.

"I know. Now let go of me." I ordered not looking at him but at Heechul.

"Kim Taehyung and Jeon Jungkook! What a surprise! Did you miss me? I'm really curious now... how did I deserve your visit?" Heechul greeted us hypocritically.
