Chapter 61 - Sacrifice

Taehyung's POV

I had a really bad feeling when I woke up after the long slumber.

I just knew that the feeling of waking up was completely different from falling asleep.

I was feeling empty or not complete, I didn't know.

"Taehyung-DaeJang, you woke up!" I heard a female voice say.

My eyes wandered towards the source of the voice and there I saw Hyangin wiping my face with a wet towel.

This scene was wrong, even though it seemed right.

I was still in the cottage, on the bed I layed on the last few days but the person on my side was wrong.

"You had a bad dream last night so I am wiping your sweat." she gently explained.

Why her? Where was Mooyeon? Why was Hyangin doing something Mooyeon would normally do?

I was that focused on these questions that I didn't even notice my current situation.

I couldn't move a muscle.

I tried my best but it was no use. My body didn't want to listen to me.

"Stop trying or you'll get injured." Gaee, who was sitting the whole time on the chair in front the bed, told me.

From the corner of my eye I could see him fiddling with his knifes.

"What did you do to me?" I asked, still trying to move a bit.

"The question is what Mooyeon did to you. I did nothing." he said, still not looking at me.

I replayed what happened before I fell asleep.

"She told me to release your DanJung point after you wake up. But I'd rather let you lay there forever."

"What do you mean? Where is Mooyeon?" I forced myself to lift myself up.

"Taehyung-DaeJang, you should wait until Gaee releases the acupuncture or you'll get internal injuries." Hyangin tried to push me down but I used all my energy to shove her hand away.

"Don't touch me! I want you to tell me where Mooyeon is, right now!" I demanded and soon I spluttered a lot of blood after feeling a huge pain.

"Just told you to stop trying, damn it." Gaee put his knife aggressively on the table and came towards me to release the acupuncture.

After feeling the release I grabbed his collar and glared at him as if I was ready to chop his head off.

"Don't try to use the same joke on me. What happened during the time when I was unconscious?" I asked him, demanding for an answer.

"Do you really want to know? Because it's better if you don't." he didn't feel scared of my glare which surprised me. It was as if he was ready for my anger to explode.

I released his collar and heaved a deep sigh.

"Just tell me." I placed my hands on his shoulder. "Just tell me what happened and where Mooyeon is."

Gaee's POV

"Just tell me what happened and where Mooyeon is." he asked me, calming down a little bit.

"She left." I answered simply.

My answer caused him to widen his eyes.

He chuckled, not getting what I mean and I prepared myself to tell him the whole story.
