Chapter 39 - Company

Mooyeon's POV

I couldn't believe I overslept the whole yesterday. I didn't even know why and how that happened.

So Taehyung was going to leave with the others today and only Namjoon and Yoongi will stay.

Even if I was really, really sleepy I still could remember my conversation with Taehyung.

"6 months... it will be hard." I sighed.

"Cheer up, Mooyeon." Princess Hyeonju told me, placing her hand on my shoulder. "The time will be over very quickly. I'm so jealous of you two... I and Hoseok aren't that sweet together. I hope that he leaves quickly so I have some space for myself."

I smiled at her, knowing that she was just acting. In real, she knows that she's going to miss him a lot.

At that moment the DaeJanfs arrived to the palace gate, where we have been waiting for them.

The soldiers also were already stanfing by to get going.

As I was told, this wasn't a big task but still, there were many people following to the North.

I was wondering how huge the mass would be if they were going to a battlefield.

Taehyung and Hoseok went towards us to bid our farewells while the others waited for them.

I gave Taehyung a warm smile and both of us turned our face towards the other couple since we knew that there's going to be a good show.

"Would you look at me for once since I'm leaving now?" Hoseok said annoyed.

Princess Hyeonju just rolled her eyes, ignoring Hoseok's request which Taehyung and I found quite cute.

"Gosh, you're so childish, cruel and brutish." Hoseok shook his head.

What he said made Princess Hyeonju's eyes grow wide while all of us made a mute 'Ouuuh' with our mouth, enjoying this entertainment.

"And you're not childish, not cruel and not brutish?" she finally countered.

"When was I childish, when was I cruel and when was I brutish?"

"When weren't you childish, when weren't you cruel and when weren't you brutish?"

"Even if I'm childish, cruel and brutish. I'm not as childish, as cruel and as brutish as you are!"

"I'm more childish, more cruel and more brutish than you? Come on, you're the most childish, the most cruel and the most brutish husband I've ever seen!"

"Pft. I'm far from how childish, how cruel and how brutish you are."

"OK. Since you say that I'm childish, cruel and brutish then I'm going to show you how childish, how cruel and how brutish I can be."

"See? Told you that you were childish, cruel and brutish."

"STOP AND KISS!" the rest of us shouted.

The two finally realized how funny they were and kept silent in embarassement for a while.

"Anyways, take good care of yourself." Hoseok gave a fake cough.

"Well, you too." Hyeonju didn't look at her husband while he left to the soldiers.

That was fun to watch but it was also time for me to say goodbye to Taehyung.

"You'll also take good care of yourself, right?" Taehyung started.

"You're the right one to ask." I lightly smacked him on the chest. "You promise me that it's an easy task? You won't be injured, would you? I don't want to see any new wounds when you come back."
