"Roman told me he loved me again..." Lía said quietly against his bare chest, his arm wrapped loosely around her. He was half asleep but he heard her, he sat up

"He told me he loved again..." She repeated quietly, he shut his eyes as if in pain as he lay back.

"It was the night I walked in afterward wasn't it?" He asked gravely, she nodded against his chest as she bit on her thumbnail.

"Yeah" she finally whimpered. He sat up again pulling her up with him, he held we at a distance by her shoulders searching her grey brown eyes with his own dark ones.

"He always uses that shit to try to get what he wants, I'm pretty sure he does it with Ruby too" he growled angrily before looking back at Lía

"What did you say?" He asked, her eyes widened at his suggestion,

"I didn't say anything..."she told him softly,

"But you had sex with him" he accused, she looked away ashamed,

"It was a moment of weakness...I thought you understood" she told him,

"I never once gave you shit for being Ruby..." She sighed,

"Seth please..." She placed her hand on his cheek pulling the sheets around her.
