"Holy fucking-" Punk gasped, "he
can walk?!" He asked as he squatted to the floor and held out his arms.

"Yeah well he is a year and a half." Danny laughed, as Damian ran into Punks arms. Damian pulled handfuls of Punk's hair and beard.

"I know. But I remember this little guy when he was born." He smiled, "and I definitely remember his first birthday." He ruffled Damian's hair who laughed. Scarlett pouted slightly as remembered.

"Yeah. Promise you're not going to bring a whole zoo, next time." She sighed.

"No promises! Only the best for my godson!" He cooed at Damian, Scarlett and Danny exchanged a look.

"We get that you want to be a part of his life because he is your godson and we love that..." Scarlett started,

"But what we don't like is, and I've told Ruby this too, don't use our son as an excuse for a pissing contest between you two." Danny jumped in as Scarlett nodded agreeing.

"What?! I don't-"

"You both do. Damian's birthday is the biggest example, for one you both turned my house into a theme park! You with your petting zoo and Ruby with her carnival rides!" Danny shook his head,

"You do know he was one? He's not going to remember!" Scarlett laughed before her face grew serious again. "And there's one other thing."

"What?" Punk asked sitting on the coach across from them with Damian on his lap.

"You and Ruby...you need to be more mature about your relationship with Damian." Scarlett muttered,

"Huh?" Punk looked at her confused,

"Huh?!" Damian repeated laughing, Scarlett laughed slightly

"What I'm trying to say is, Danny and I think it's really immature that you and her..." Scarlett searched for the right words

"Pretty much if one of you knows that the other is here you refuse to show up." Danny jumped in again, Scarlett nodded,

"Exactly! And we think it's important for both of you to be around Damian. You're both very important figures in his life, you're his godparents. He needs you both around." Scarlett added, "God forbid anything should happen to us, you guys would be taking care of the girls and Damian."

"What's with people and leaving us their kids?" Punk joked, both Danny and Scarlett shot him a look causing him to shut up. "Look maybe some day very, very, very distant we will be able to stand to see each other...speaking of..." He cleared his throat slightly, "You uh, haven't seen her lately have you? Not that I care. Just wondering." He shrugged,

"Nope. You two have mastered the art of avoiding each other completely." Danny laughed,

"You know it surprises me that Ruby would even..." He began, they looked at him intrigued,

"Would even what?" Danny asked confused,

"Well you guys know shit between us didn't exactly end...on great terms. I expected you guys to be a lot more hostile." He shrugged, "I guess it's surprises me that she actually encouraged you guys to let me see the girls and my little DVC here."

"Yeah, but y'know." Scarlett shrugged, "She's...a complex person. To put it in the simplest terms."

"Yeah, more like batshit crazy." He laughed, there was a thud. Danny coughed, "what was that?" Punk asked, an eyebrow perking up. Ruby tried to refrain from punching the wall again.

"Sorry." She whispered to the dog who looked up at her curiously.

"Damn dog probably got into my boxer drawer. She loves that thing." Danny muttered, " Pugsly!" He called, Pugsly tilted her head to look at Ruby.
