Chapter 44 : The Queen

Ashton's POV

I park my car nearby when I arrived at the campus. Naglalakad lang ako sa may tahimik na field nang may mamataan akong isang babae. A smirk slowly form in my lips as I slowly walk towards the familiar figure.

"You're early," sinabayan ko siya sa paglalakad. She stiffens beside me and shook her head making her blonde hair swung at each side of her shoulder.

"If you have plans to annoy me, I suggest you change your target. I don't have plans to entertain you right now." Inirapan niya akong muli bago maglakad ng mabilis. Napangiti nalang ako. Still, she never fails to impress me with her wicked side.

Pagkapasok ko sa room ay medyo madami narin ang tao sa loob. I saw Arraine sitting in her chair. She looks really devastated.

"What the hell happened to you?" I sit beside her at hinipo ang noo niya. Hindi naman siya mainit, mukhang wala rin naman siyang sakit.

"That brat is still not calling me, Ash." She still had the guts to roll her eyes before slapping my hand away.

Kahit naman hindi niya sabihin, alam kong si Kara ang sinasabi niya. Oh no, scratch that. It's Vielle. She got her memories back, so she's back to being Vielle again.

"How can you not know about her relationship with Kent 6 years ago? You're the childhood friend here." Puna ko sa kanya. I mean, childhood friends sila. Paanong hindi niya nakilala si Kent noon pa man?

"How can I know when she live far away from me since we turned 10? Duh. We just see each other when there were gatherings between her parents and mine that time. Back then, we don't see each other often. Until that accident happened. I don't even know what that accident is but after that happened, they moved. That's when we started hanging out often."

Napatango ako. That's why. Hanggang ngayon pala wala parin siyang alam tungkol sa aksidenteng yon.

Unti-unting lumilipas ang oras at unti-unti naring nagsisidatingan ang mga kaklase namin. Sabay na dumating si Desiree at Bryle. Mukhang may-LQ sila dahil kahit na magkasabay ang dalawa, hindi sila nagkikibuan. Magkasunod naman na dumating si Casey pati narin si Alex. At hanggang ngayon, wala parin si Kent at Vielle.

Tahimik akong nakikipag-usap kay Bryle nang biglang mag-gasp ang mga tao sa paligid namin. Napatingin ako sa tinititigan nila at ganun din ang naging reaksyon ko.

"What the fuck did she just do to her hair?!" I heard Arraine whisper, more to herself. Bakit ba? Vielle is just standing in the door, wearing her poker face with her blonde hair swaying at each sides. So she's back to her old look. What else will she change?

Natahimik ang lahat ng maglakad siya papunta sa pwesto ni Arraine. Nakita ko siya pinandilatan nito ng mata but Vielle just shrugged it off.

God. I don't even know what to call her anymore. Nasanay akong tawagin siyang Kara but I know she will not like it if I call her with that name again. She's a fearless girl. No one can tame her except for Kent Harrison.

Naging maayos naman ang unang klase namin. Walang masyadong mabigat na ginawa dahil sa pasukan palang daw naman ngayon. Who would have thought that days would come really fast? November na. Wala rin naman kaming masyadong ginawa. Just visited our love ones and spend the sembreak. Well except the fact that Vielle spend the whole week in the hospital. When she came back after escaping, Kent didn't stopped nagging at her. Tumigil din siya ng ilang araw sa bahay ng parents niya pansamantala.
