"Stupid hag," I whispered to myself, angrily, "Who does she think she is?"

I stomped towards one of the vending machines, putting in the 2.75 for a bag of Doritos. My mouth watered as I tore into the bag, cheddar goodness exploding on my tongue. I felt much better now, my strange coping mechanism of eating when I was angry. Always solved all of my problems.

"Cupcake!" Shawn shouted, jogging down the carpeted hallway.

"Yes," I chocked out, stuffing more chips into my mouth.

Shawn stopped in-front of me, starring down at the bag of chips in my hand and looking at how many I was chewing in my mouth. The thick paste of chips turned into a hardly chew able ball.

"You are the cutest thing ever," he squealed, his eyes welling up,"so fucking cute."

I rolled my eyes dramatically swallowing the last of the food in my mouth, "You are strange."

"Anyway, he only have 4 hours till the show so we gotta see what you can do," he smirked, taking my hand and pulling me back too the hotel room.

"Jack sings?" I asked curiously, walking through the hotel door still being dragged by Shawn.

"Yah, him and Johnson are pretty good. They just haven't played at Magcon before. And having a new girlfriend now, Jack must be nervous," Shawn mumbled on.

"New girlfriend," I said lowly.

I hadn't thought of that before, he was very good looking. I mean I don't doubt every girl has wanted him. Cameron had only ever dated one girl, in his junior year and that didn't end too well. I just never really thought of anyone else, I have always been surrounded by people who weren't really into the whole dating scene. So it was a huge change to be called a guy's new girlfriend.

"Carly, I didn't mean it like that. Yes Jack has had a few girlfriends, but I have never seen him act the way he does with you," Shawn tried to reassure me, grabbing a soda out of the mini fridge.

"It's fine. Let's just practice?" I said my voice cracking, as I sat down on the couch.

"Sure. I need you too do the vocals too I know what you did last summer," he said quickly before taking a big gulp of soda.

"What about Camila?" I asked softly, starring out the Balcony windows that overlooked Dallas.

"Ah, so you do really know my music," he chuckled, sitting down on the couch beside me, "Okay, just start when you feel ready."

I cleared my throat, taking a few deep breaths. How was I even supposed to compare to Camila she was a lyrical goddess.

"He knows, Dirty secrets that I keep. Does he know it's killing me? He knows, he knows. D-d-does he know, Another's hands have touched my skin. I won't tell him where I've been. He knows, he knows, he knows," I sang the first verse softly, trying to hit every note as best as I could. My right around gripping on the fabric of my crop top, calming my nerves.

"It's tearing me apart, She's slipping away (I'm slipping away) Am I just hanging on to all the words she used to say? The pictures on her phone. She's not coming home (I'm not coming home)," Shawn sang the course with me, our voices harmonizing together.

My concerns seemed to vanish as we sang together, the melody of our voices seemed to captivate each other.

"Carly, that was amazing," Shawn gushed, excitement filling his face.

"I have never been able too sing like that," I said truthfully, shocked at my own voice.

"We make a great team, cupcake," Shawn gave me a playful wink, "Well I don't think we need anymore practice."

He stood up excusing himself to his room, and I retreated back to mine slowly, grabbing a cold Pepsi from the fridge before locking myself away into my room. I laid down on the cocoa comforter, the smell of Cam still lingering in the fibers of the blanket. I took a deep breath in, savoring in the sweet coconut smell and mint. One of the most common smells I have learned to love over the past few years. Wrapping myself in the comforter and engulfing myself in the smell, I picked up my phone and typed 'Jack Gilinsky' in my search bar. About 554,000 results (0.75 seconds) flashed on the google screen before loading thousands of different links.

So many different things popped up showing someone I didn't know, I had never seen any of these sides of him. He was always so sweet and charming. And who was this Madison Beer girl, curiosity got the best of me and I started to creep on my boyfriends ex. She was extremely gorgeous. How could I even compare too her, I felt like nothing looking down at the olive skinned girl and her beautiful eyes and hair. My phone started buzzing violently, and Cameron's caller ID popped up on the screen.

"Hello," I spoke quietly into the phone.

"Tonight, meet me on the roof after the show. Also it's time to come down and get ready," Cam said quickly hang before I could answer.
