"Promise me something Cameron," she spoke softly.
Her small frame swinging on the swing set, she faced the sky her eyes stared deeply at the different shades of blue and white clouds. She looked deep in thought, her brunette hair falling in ringlets around her long narrow face. It was adorable the way her eyes sparkled in the sun and them way they looked like mystical blue orbs. She squinted her eye's as she let her imagination take over in her head. I watched her quietly analyzing and studying her actions graciously.
"I will do anything for you," I whispered.
She turned her head flashing me a toothy smile, "Will you always protect me no matter what happens to me?"
She looked back up at the sky, kicking her feet in the dirt. I pulled myself from the swing engulfing her in a hug.
"Forever and Always," I whispered, pecking her lips slightly.
"You aren't supposed to make promises you can't keep," her voice was dark and taunting, a smirk plastered on her face.
Her body was surrounded by white lily's droplets of crimson liquid dripping from their innocent petals, her favorite flowers tainted forever. A pink gown clung to her curves complimenting her body nicely. Her small frame grew from the children we once were. Now she was at the peak of maturity were full plump breasts were placed upon her, and wide-set hip bones. Her cinnamon toned hair was pin-straight and flowed around her face complimenting the pink mask strapped around her head. She looked deeply into my eyes, the same sinister smile still plastered across her lips. From a glance, I could see my figure in a long mirror in the dark room we resided in. A white mask was strapped to my face, and my long body dressed in a black suit and tie. A single tear rolled down her cheek escaping her mask.
"Help me," her frail voice trembled out.
Blood exploded through the pink fabric that clothed her body, loud ripping sounds echoed through the room. Her dress was ripped nearly torn from her body, with very little stitching holding it together. Her pink bra was now oozing with metallic liquid. And wide horizontal cuts were engraved into her skin. She looked down at her chest and looked back up to me, pain filled her eyes.
"Please," She begged.
My feet were planted to the ground, unable to talk or breath. It felt like gravity was forcing my body to the ground and my eyes were being held open. All I could do was watch the love of my life be torn to pieces by god knows what. Her body flew forward and up as if something had just impaled her. She looked up at me saddened, her mask falling from her face. She coughed violently and blood spewed from her lips.
"You said you would protect me," She cried out, her body being ripped away.
"Carly!" I screamed out violently, my body collapsing to the ground.
My eyes fluttered open rapidly, sweat poured down my face. My breath was uneven still panting from the horrific dream."Cam?" A weak voice called out.
My heart stopped terrified. I had completely forgotten that we were both still in the hospital.
"Mom," I panted out.
"Are you having nightmares again?" She asked her voice still scratchy from getting her stomach pumped.
That wasn't just any nightmare. Carly has never been in my nightmares before she was always a part of the good ones, she always was portrayed as such an angelic being in my dreams. And watching her body be mutilated like that-- It was the most horrifying thing I have ever witnessed.
"Yah," I mumbled out softly, "Hey, I am gonna go get a coffee I will be right back."
She gave a small nod. I walked out of the room silently, fear still pouring out of every gland in my body. It's been days since I have even see Carly, or that I have even left this damn hospital. I looked over in one of the bathroom mirrors across from the coffee machine. My sandy blond hair was a mess on the top of my head-- Natural curls fell everywhere. And there were thick black bags under my eyes, and my eyes were bloodshot from stress. As much as I wanted to be here for my mother a shower was desperately in order.

Cameron. I need you please answer me. - Carly
I stared down at the message on the screen for awhile, trying to analyze if it was worth rushing to her side. I had just had a gore filled nightmare about her and now she was texting me she needed me. Something didn't seem right at all.
