My mind was swirling into a pit of desperation. Was I really becoming this person? My thoughts were as messy as the plate of gooey spaghetti in front of me. It's been hours since Carly has answered her phone. The last text was 12 hours ago-- A sad text saying she missed me. Now every text has been put on read and my calls are now being forwarded. This wasn't like Carly...
"Are you okay?" Johnson whispered looking over at my untouched plate of food, "Mom's spaghetti is your favorite."
"I just need reassurance. This stress is stressing me out," I let out a frustrated groan.
"She's probably just busy with family stuff. It has been a few months since she has seen them you know?" Johnson gurgled out red sauce staining the skin around his lips. He took another sloppy bite inhaling the noodles that were covered in his the Gilinsky family's secret sauce.
"Maybe," I sighed out, twirling my fork around in my food, "Would it be bad if I just call Nash to maybe find out?"
"No-" He chocked down his last bite of food, "If it makes you feel better I don't see why it would be a bad thing."
Without a second thought, I flung myself away from the kitchen table. And headed to my bedroom quickly too were my phone was last left on the charger. I was acting like a hormonal teenage girl waiting for a guy to return her call. This was intense-- When I thought of all the things that could be going wrong. My heart began to pound and my stomach would twist in horrifying knots. You know in my defense is it really that hard to send your boyfriend a text that you are going to busy all day? I completely would understand that. But having the love of your life 24+ hours away didn't already help what insecurities were already there. I never cared about Madison in this way. She would normally disappear for days on end with the so perfect Justin Bieber and I wouldn't even flinch. But, I see the way Carly and Cameron look at each other. The same way Brandon and Callie look at each other off the fosters. The whole forbidden love thing. I mean I have only seen a few episodes of that show, but everyone understands that look. I mean a complete idiot who has never been in love would know by the way they look at each other.
"Hello?" Nash's voice echoed through the phone.
"Hey, I know this is a little bit of a stalker move. But, Carly hasn't answered her phone all day and I just wanted to make sure she was okay," I quickly blurted out. Fear over running ever sense in my body.
"I think she went to go meet up with Aaron and his girlfriend with Cameron. That's strange normally she always answers her phone," Nash's tone changed quickly, a hint of concern on his tongue.
"Thanks," I hissed out softly.
I pressed the red end call button. Anger coursing through my body. I should have known this was going to happen. What did I really expect leaving such a beautiful girl alone with a guy who has been in love with her since day one-- I am such a fucking retard. I threw my phone at the wall letting out an angry cry.
"She just wanna pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop that bubblegum."
My phone began to ring on the opposite of the room. I rushed to it quickly. The screen flashed a picture of me and Carly kissing and baby girl flashed across the screen. The screen was very badly shattered.
"Hey," Her sweet voice cooed.
"Hey," I shakily stuttered out.
"Sorry I got distracted and we were at a movie-"
"We?" my voice hissed out sharply.
"Yah. I went with Aaron and Claire, " She giggled out softly, "And Cameron tagged along."
"Uh-huh," I sighed running my fingers through my hair.
"Is something wrong?" Her tone changed, as she spoke through the phone speaker.
"Nope. You know it's completely normal for your girlfriend to disappear for an entire day with a guy she's-" my lips froze, "I'm sorry, I am just really anxiety filled right now."
"Do you want to talk about it?"
"No. I am just going to go to bed. I love you baby girl," I whispered out softly.
"Okay, goodnight. I will talking to you tomorrow," She replied back quickly.
