Practice ended again, we are ready for our next performance. I knelt, placing my violin back into its case as Lelouch and Kizumi, our vocalist were talking by the piano. They're getting very close, I know we're friends but I mean closer than that. I can't say that I'm entirely comfortable with that, I've had feelings for Lelouch for a while but I'm not really one to express my emotions. I pick up my violin case and walk over to them. "We're ready!" Kizumi smiled hanging an arm around me and Lelouch.
"Your upper scale D's need a little work. You fell a little flat on a few of them. Try resting your voice." I stated.
"I thought it was alright." Lelouch added. I pulled away from Kizumi.
"I think it needs work."
"Come on, Y/N. We have this. Stop picking little faults. I know you're a perfectionist but this is the best we've been in years. This performance is ours." Kizumi stated smiling kissing Lelouch on the cheek.
"Is there something I need to know here?" I asked.
"We're dating, we thought we should tell you. It's not going to affect our little band. Don't worry." She smiled.
"Oh. Well. I need to go. My mother has something important to talk to me about."
I picked up my violin and walked out not saying another word, making my way home. "Mum. I'm home!" I called, walking into the lounge.
"Ah. Y/N. How was practice my dear?" She spoke holding my hands.
"Alright. I guess. Kizumi and Lelouch think we are ready. I believe she needs more practice."
"Well. As you know I had something to tell you. I have been offered a job as a talent show judge."
"That is a great opportunity mother."
"In Brazil. And I have a place for you to study music while I am out there." I thought briefly before she spoke again. "Tomorrow's performance will be your last here. We leave on Sunday."
"Four days. That's not long to say goodbye to my friends." Not that they'll miss me. They have each other.
"I'm sorry but it's now or never." She spoke as I turned to walk upstairs.

The day of our performance, our last. They don't know, it would only distract them. I want this performance to be perfect, and it was. Even Kizumi's singing. We all took our bow and walked off stage. "That was amazing!" Kizumi shouted pulling us into a hug. I wriggled out of her grasp and walked towards the exit. "Hey! Where do you think you're going?! We just had the performance of our lives! We should celebrate." She shouted grabbing my wrist.
"I have to go. I have packing to do." I snapped back at her.
"You're leaving?" Lelouch spoke, stepping forwards, his deep violet eyes searching mine for some kind of answer.
"Yes. Sunday."
"Why didn't you tell us?" He asked taking my hand.
"Because. It would've distracted you from performing and we would never have been that good." I said, pulling my hand away. "My mother has a job offer and I'm going with her to study music."
"Well. We'll make sure to come and visit you." Kizumi spoke, placing an arm over my shoulder. I shrugged it off and walked over to the door placing my hand on it.
"I'm moving to Brazil. I hope you two succeed in life. This is where I say goodbye." I pushed the door open.
"That's it?! Just walk out like that?! All nonchalant!" She shouted after me.
"I'm just making this easier." I walked out and shut the door behind me. I stood leaning against the door steadying my breathing. I looked up as fresh spots of rain fell on my face. I no longer care. That was the hardest thing I've ever done. I'm breaking inside but there's no way in hell I'll ever show it. I don't want to leave, I don't want to leave Lelouch. I started my walk home, "stop thinking like that you idiot! He has someone now. He'll be happy." I muttered to myself as I walked.
I walked in and my mother instantly rushed over to me. "Why didn't you call? You'll catch cold like that!" I pushed her away.
"I'm fine. It's just a little rain." I walked up to my room ignoring her scalds and resumed my packing from this morning.

Here we are... The airport. I look from the screen above me to the ticket in my hand to find my boarding gate. Gate F. Dragging my suitcase I walked towards the gate. I finally reach it but as I was walking with my head down I stupidly collided with someone. "Sorry sir." I mumbled as I moved to walk around only to have them stand in my way. "Uh. Excuse me."
"No. You can't leave." A familiar voice spoke. Lelouch. I looked up. It was him.
"Why? Why are you here?"
"You can't leave. I need you here. Y/N please." I shrugged.
"You have Kizumi. You'll find a new violinist. See. All fine." I walked around him only to have him grab my wrist.
"Then at least tell me the truth before you go. How do you feel about me?" He spoke, his head down.
"I-I don't know what you mean. Lelouch you're one of my best friends." I blushed looking away to avoid him seeing my obvious lack of emotional control.
"Y/N. Kizumi told me. I felt you didn't like me Yano in that way. That's why I started dating Kizumi. She told me she had feelings for me and I thought you didn't. So why not try it. But when she told me that you did, I couldn't let you leave." His grip tightened. "Don't go. Please. Stay with my sister Nunnally and I." I turned back to him. Oh stuff my emotional control. I pulled him into a tight hug. Eventually I awkwardly stepped back.
"Sorry." I coughed.
"It's fine. It's not bad to show your emotions you know. It doesn't mean you're weak or anything." I nodded slightly and took ahold of his hand. "Let's go home." He said. This'll be hell to explain to my mother but right now I really don't care. I have something that actually makes me feel happy.
I'm so sorry this took so long. I hit a bit of a wall but I hope it's okay and what you wanted.
