So I've recently bought and watched Dark Side of Demensions after ages of waiting and trying to find the DVD. And just fell for Aigami/Diva.

Another day of school, surrounded by my friends, but still without him. It's been a few years since Atem left and I do miss him but he said I should move on. I'm trying but it's just hard.
We only have a while left of school before graduation but we're still doing pointless projects. This one we have to be in partners for. I look to my friends who have all practically partnered up. Yugi and Joey. Tristan and Duke and Tea and Bakura. Great. I was contemplating just doing it alone until someone stood in front of me. "Hello?" I asked looking up.
"Hey. I couldn't help but notice you were alone. May I join you?" He asked. His striking golden eyes burning into mine. I blinked to break the contact.
"Yeh sure. Uh.. I know we are in class together but I don't believe we've ever spoken." I spoke, embarrassed to be asking a classmate his name when we've been in class together for at least a year.
"Oh. I'm Aigami. You're Y/N. I definitely know you. Star student, friend of Yugi Muto and amazing duellist. Everyone knows you." He laughed.
"Well Aigami. I see my reputation precedes me. But I'm not that good." I smiled blushing. "But if you wanna work together then I'd love to." We sat together for the remainder of the class after which I invited him home to continue working.
We went up to my room as most of my books etcetera are up there. On my desk sat my millennium necklace which Kaiba retrieved in his effort to find the puzzle to bring back his old rival. I rarely use it. It just brings me comfort more than anything, like my old friend is still kind of with me. He laid eyes on the necklace and stopped. "Come on. Let's get to work."
He stood. His head down. Until he pulled some cube from his jacket. The corner bore the millennium symbol. "I nearly forgot. You knew the Pharaoh. You were together. You of all people would want him back. I can't allow that to happen." I looked at him shocked.
"He can't come back. His spirit is at rest. There is no coming back."
"You would lie to protect him." I picked up the necklace.
"You know what this is?"
"An item forged from darkness. Much like the one that killed my master shin."
"Yes. It was forged using the souls of the people of Kul Elna but. It unlike some of the others is not evil. Allow me to show you the truth." I spoke placing it around my neck. I took Aigami by the hand and showed him a vision. One I hate to relive but it must be seen. Where Atem leaves us.
"This is just some trick."
"It is no trick. I was here. See. We all were." I smiled. "Look. He's not coming back." The vision ended but was replaced by another. Shadi. Bakura as a child. Aigami. So many flashing images. "Shadi." I panted as the vision ended. "So that's how you became a spirit."
"You knew master Shin?" He spoke surprised.
"Knew? I still know him. He is a spirit, the guardian of these items."
"These items?" He questioned. I brought my hand up to my neck.
"What safer place than with one who could see a theft before it even happens." I opened the trunk at the end of my bed. "I am the human guardian. As said by Shadi himself."
"He speaks to you?" He spoke his head down.
"Yes." I placed my hand on his shoulder. "He wouldn't want you to hate the pharaoh. He was a great man. But neither of them are ever coming back. Not Shadi. Not Atem. We've all lost people we love. And I know what you're thinking, you can't take it out on Bakura either. It wasn't him. You know that as well as I." He sobbed and leant into my touch. "It's okay to hurt. But never let hurt turn to hate."
"You speak like master Shin."
"I try. Now. Let's get to this work. Or I Forster poor grades in our future." I spoke sarcastically. "I like you Aigami. We've both lost people we love and we both have important responsibilities. You to your family and me to protecting these. I think you and I could be very close."
"Thank you. Y/N. And my real name is Diva." He smiled.

-3 Years Later-
"Come on Diva! Stop complaining and just hurry up. But no using your power." I called as we both climbed down into the tomb in Egypt. Before I knew it he had appeared beneath me already standing in the centre of the tomb. I jumped the last few feet. "Cheat." We both stood laughing. "We've finally found it. The tomb of Priest Seto." I spoke looking around. "Oh this is amazing. He was the cousin of Atem. The man who never wanted to become king." I whispered with my hand on the sarcophagus.
"And you found it." Diva spoke as he wrapped his arms around me. "You sure this is what you want to do?" I pulled the rod from my bag.
"I'm putting the items to rest. This belongs here." I placed the rod on top of the chest of the mummified pharaoh. Before we left I thought. "Wait! Come here." Diva ran to my side. I pulled out my phone stood next to the sarcophagus. I pulled Diva quickly into the photo. "Kaiba is gonna love this." I grinned before climbing out of the tomb and sealing it. "Another one down." Diva wrapped his arm around me again. His other hand resting on my necklace.
"What about this one?"
"Even this one. Yours too." I turned to him. "Yours to lay with Shadi and mine with Isis. It is the only way." I smiled. "We do not need them. We have each other."
"Yes. We have each other. Dwelling in the past only causes pain."
"Exactly. The future is where we must look."
"In my future all I want to see is you."
"Diva. You know I can actually see our future." I laughed.
"Yes. But I don't want to know. Just surprise me."
"I intend to Diva. My love."
