Eren Jeager x Reader

As the first cry of my child rang through the room all of my pain seemed to disappear. My newborn child was all I cared about.I looked up at Eren who was holding the child wrapped in a blanket. "Girl or boy?" I breathed.
"Boy." He smiled, "he's perfect."
"May I?" I asked with my arms slightly outstretched.
"Of course." He placed the tiny bundle into my arms. "He looks like you." I sighed. "What should we call him?"
"We were going to name a boy after your father." He suggested.
"I know but William just doesnt fit him." He shought for a moment before speaking again.
"How about Levi? After the late Captain..." My mind flashed back to that day. It haunts me. I blame myself for his death. "Y/N? Honey. Are you okay?" Eren asked leaning over me. "Oh.. Is it too soon?"
"No Eren." I wiped the tears from my eyes. "It's perfect. I could think of no other way to honour him. Levi Jeager." I handed out son back to Eren as I began to tire and fall asleep.

"Get up. Moping over a body isn't going to save the rest of them! Don't let him die for nothing!! You see those flares?! We are being swarmed by Titans. Leave him, get on your horse and go!!" The captain ordered as I frantically pulled the dead body of a dear friend, Connie Springer, towards my horse. He was right. Titans to our left, right and rear. The formation has broken down and half of the scouts who ventured outside the walls are dead. "Go on!" He shouted as I mounted my horse. "I'll take the two behind us! Go protect Jeager!! I'll meet you all at the rendezvous. Go!!"
"Captain. I can help!"
"Go!!"
"Yes sir." I looked behind me to watch one of the most awe inspiring fighters in the legion. As I looked he was utterly surrounded by five Titans. No idea where the other three came from I watched in horror as he was plucked from his horse and torn in two.

"Captain!!" I jolted out of my sleep. Eren rushed to my side.
"Sshh. It's okay. Just a dream. The same one?" I nodded in response.
"I should've looked to see the other three Titans approaching. I should've helped. If I did Levi could still be alive."
Eren pulled me close to him, as he held our son in his other arm.
"Or you could've died with him. Then this, me, you and Levi our little Levi would never have happened. If I'd have found out that you were killed who knows what I would've done." He gazed down at Levi. "Which concerns me. I could be a danger to you and Levi. I mean. I am a Titan."
"You won't hurt us."
"You think Levi will be a Titan shifter like me?"
"By the walls I hope not. I have enough trouble dealing with one stubborn Titan on my hands." I laughed gently nudging him. I looked down pitifully at my son. "What a sorrowful, dangerous world to be born into. My darling Levi. You will see death before you can walk and you will know loss before you can read. But don't worry. Your father and I will create a better world for you we will kill all the Titans and make it safe so you can run and play outside the walls. I promise."
"I couldn't have put it better myself." Eren smiled. "They say when someone is lost a new life will always replace the void inside you. Levi isn't gone. He lives on in our son. Our Levi."
"Remember those stories Armin used to tell you about the world outside the walls. The ocean. Rocks that take days to climb. Fields of ice. Levi will see them all. I am sure of it. You can now control your Titan abilities so you can fight them. Kill them. Push them back. This gives us all the more reason to fight. Our son deserves a better world."
"That he does." We all just laid there taking in the fact that we are now a family. Our family may consist of a soldier, a half Titan, a master strategist,   the top cadet like ever, horse face and now this baby. Our Levi. But it is the only family I could ever wish for.
