Ryou Bakura x Reader

"Hey guys!" I shouted running to catch up with Tea and Yugi. "Wait up!" They turned and greeted me with a smile.
"Y/N!" Yugi called waving, "come on! We're gonna be late!" We all took off and reached the school gates just in time.
We walked up to our home room where our class had already gathered. Joey and Tristan stood by the door. Waiting for us. "So." Tea began, "how's things with you and Bakura?"
"What?!" I jumped away from her. "No no no. It's not like that!" I blushed. I've tried and tried to keep our relationship under the radar.
"Oh come on Y/N. The amount of 'study' nights you two have is on the up." She spoke stepping closer. I sighed.
"We're great. Just wanna keep it on the down low. He's shy enough as it is." I speak as we entered the room. We looked around as as usual the majority of the girls were sat around Bakura, either just laughing and flirting or offering him little gifts. Bakura being the gentleman he is just sat talking, smiling and accepting anything they gave him.
I subconsiously clenched my fists. "Hey. If I know Bakura he doesn't care about them, he's just too polite to say no." Yugi nudged me. "Go over there. He IS yours after all."
"Y-yeah." I slowly made my way over to him. Trying to get through the mass of girls. "Excuse me. Sorry."
"Ugh. Back off." One girl shoved me back, only to be caught by Tristan who helped me back up. He helped me through the crowd. I stood right next to Bakura, taking the seat next to him.
"Hey Bakura. Good weekend?" He looked at me smiling bright.
"One of the best."
"Uh. Bakura. I was wondering if you wanted to get lunch with me today." A girl asked. I looked away annoyance plastered over my face.
"Oh. That is very nice of you. Thank you." Ugh. He's way too nice. "But I must decline." See... He what? "I-I am spending it with my girlfriend." They all looked around in shock. Whispering among themselves.
He placed an arm around me. "Her. Really her?" A girl asked. Bakura looked up, an angry look in his eye.
"Yes. Her. She's beautiful, intelligent and kind." They all continued muttering and dispersed.
"Bakura. You didn't have to tell them you know. Anyway. I can't blame them for liking you. It's the accent isn't it." I laughed.
"I've never flirted with them. I promise you. I'm just too soft to say no. They took time to make things for me so saying no would be rude." He rambled trying to explain to me.
"Bakura. Please. It's okay. I know you're always polite and to you, saying no is hard. Which is why I'm asking you to get lunch with me today. My treat."
"Y/N. I'd love to." He smiled.

*time skip*

I stood by the school gates waiting for Bakura. I'm so glad we only had a half day today due to having an exam tomorrow. I waved as he rounded the corner. "Bakura! Hey!" He ran over to me, pulling me into a hug.
"Y/N. You okay?" He smiled.
"I'm great. Now let's go get some food. I'm starving." He took my hand, laughing slightly. "Then again. Tell me when I'm not." We both began laughing and walking.
"I'm sorry about earlier today." He spoke as we took a table at a cafe.
"It's ok. I told you. Those girls can fawn over you all they like. You know why?" He shook his head. "Because you're mine Kura."
"Yeh. I don't want them. I want you." He smiled.
"Good. So. What you wanna eat?" I asked with a bright smile.
"Surprise me. You pick."
"Okay. On your head be it Bakura." I smiled evilly.
"I look forward to it."
