Yugi.
Tonight is my date with Yugi. Well, we are going to the game shop then for coffee but it's still a date to us. I took off my school uniform, showered and changed into some more comfortable clothes. A pair of jeans, tshirt and plaid shirt around my waist. "Bye mum. Off to see Yugi." I shouted walking out. I walked to the game shop to see him in his casual jeans and grey top with a shirt.
"Hey." He spoke hugging me gently.
"Heya." He invited me in, showing me around.
"I have something for you." He blushed taking my hand walking towards the coffee shop.
"For me? You shouldn't have." We took our seats with our coffee. He slid a card face down across the table. I took it and looked at it. His Dark Magician Girl. "Yugi. I can't. This is one of your favourite cards."
"Hence why I'm giving it to you." He smiled.
"Ok. Thank you. I'll take good care of her." We sat, in a comfortable silence, one hand held over the table. I couldn't stop smiling. He's so cute.
At the end of the night he walked me home. "I had a great time. Thank you."
"Would you like to do this again some time."
"I would love to." I smiled kissing his cheek. "Goodnight Yugi."
"G-goodnight."

Yami
"Heya! So where are we going?" I asked as Yami pulled me into a hug.
"I was thinking maybe the museum." He smiled. As lame as it may be I love the museum, I'm studying ancient history here in Domino so his idea is perfect.
"Yes. Sounds great. I'm guessing you wanna check out the Egyptology section." He smiled and nodded. "Hey. I've been studying that recently in lectures. It's so interesting." He wrapped an arm around my waist and pulled me close as we walked to the museum.
We had a great time. Walking round, looking at loads of different stuff. And Yami seemed to be getting closer to figuring out who he is, which is amazing to even be a part of. "That was so much fun! And that guy in the tablet looked so much like you!" I spoke walking backwards so I could face Yami.
"Yeh. If it is true and that was me that would make me- watch out!" He shouted but the next step I took I fell down a step. I braced myself to hit the ground however Yami grabbed my wrist just in time, and pulled me up into his arms.
"That would make you what?" I laughed.
"It would make you clumsy." He retorted sarcastically. "And me.. Pharaoh."
"That it would." I smirked. "But don't let it go to that head of yours. I'm not gonna ray around bowing and calling you 'your highness' or anything." I laughed.
"Wouldn't dream of it." He smiled. "Not from you anyway."

Kaiba
A date with Seto Kaiba. How did this even happen? I mean I'd met him and his brother back in the orphanage, and recently just moved to domino for his tournament. But this I never expected. The most high end restaurant in Domino city. "This is... Nice.." I spoke nervously. "I'm sorry. I'm not used to places like this." I looked down at my attire. "I mean I'm hardly dressed for the occasion. I'm just a school teacher. I haven't the money for places like this." He tilted his head, he seemed almost amused.
"Which is precisely why I'M bringing you here. This IS a date after all. Remember?"
"Yeh. I have to keep pinching myself, reminding myself I'm not dreaming. I can't believe you asked me out on this date."
"Why not? You were the only one who spoke to Mokuba and I in the orphanage. You were.. Nice to me."
"So were you to me." I stopped, before laughing mischievously, "then you got adopted into money and became a huge jerk." He sat across from me feign shock across his face until he too smiled, chuckling slightly.
We both sat chatting and had the most amazing meal I've ever eaten in my life.
"I guess you're used to fancy pants restaurants like this. But boy, that was excellent!" I exclaimed as we walked back to my apartment. An icy breeze whipped through the early November air, causing me to pull my cardigan tighter around me. Without saying a word Seto shed his coat and draped it around my shoulders.
"Don't you know what time of year it is? You should've brought a coat." He said sarcastically.
"Whatever mr smarty pants Bigshot who always wears a coat to look cool." I retorted trying to hold my laughter. We knew the other wasn't being serious. "Thank you." I mumbled pulling up the collar to hide my growing blush.
"Don't mention it." He smiled slightly as we arrived back at my place and a car pulled up outside. He handed me a card with a number on it. "Here. My driver's number. My office door is always open. To you that is."
"Thanks Kaiba. I'll see you soon."

Bakura
"Hey! Bakura! Earth to Bakura!" I spoke waving my hand in front of his face. "You keep zoning out on me." He returned his gaze to me, his deep chocolate eyes glinting in the pale moonlight.
"I'm terribly sorry. I guess I got lost in my thoughts." He smiled, moving so he was closer to me. We were laying on a blanket on the balcony of his house. There was apparently going to be a meteor shower tonight and he invited me over to watch with him. "I'm sorry nothing has happened. I swear it was tonight."
"Bakura. Don't worry, you can't make it happen. Anyway. I've enjoyed your company." I shifted closer yet, laying my head on his shoulder. I could feel him tense slightly causing me to laugh.
"Hey. What's so funny?"
"You. You can't tell me you didn't intend this to be a date."
"Uh. W-well. I. I uh." He stammered. I propped myself up on my elbow leaning over him as he continued looking up at the night sky.
"It's ok Bakura. I've had so much-"
"-There! Look!" He shouted pointing up at the sky. He'd never seen a meteor shower before and the look of sheer joy on his face is one I'll never forget.
"I missed it. This wish is all yours." I smiled.
"I thought you didn't believe in that kinda thing. You're all science and fact."
"Bakura. Last year I watch one of my best friends split into two people, I was transported to ancient Egypt and the person I care about the most had an evil spirit living in a piece of jewellery. I think I can believe that a wish on the first shooting star can come true."
"Okay." He smiled and closed his eyes tight, concentrating on his wish.
This was my chance. I leant forwards and quickly kissed his cheek. I sat back blushing slightly.
"So? Whatcha wish for?" I smiled.
"You know I can't say. Anyway. It already came true." I laid back watching the sky once again.
"I'd love to do this again sometime. Go on a date. Not wait years for another meteor shower that is."
"I'd like that. A lot."

Marik
"Come on Marik. It'll be so much fun." I said pulling him along by his wrist.
"That's easy for you to say. You can come and go as you please."
"Come on. It'll be a date."
"What's a date?" He questioned, tilting his head to one side. He looked like a confused puppy. Although he was hesitant his lilac eyes were swimming with excitement.
"It's a term from the surface. When two people really like each other. They go on a date. Usually it's all romantic, going out for dinner or stuff like that. We could make it adventurous." I explained.
"I like this idea. Let's go on a date." I pulled him out into the bright desert sun. He squinted covering his eyes to see better. Now his father had passed away Marik was the head tomb keeper. I was the person to follow on from Shadi as the guardian of the millennium items. We'd met as I was called to present the items to Marik and Ishizu. Marik and I hit it off from the beginning. "Doesn't this feel wrong?"
"Marik. Times need to change. I'm not Shadi. I will not keep myself in that tomb. Yes I've left a portion of my spirit there as a guard but I will travel. Go outside. You should be able to do the same. We are no longer in the ancient times." I smiled taking his hand. "Besides. We both have our items so it's not like we're not safe." I lead him into the town. There were things he'd never seen, motorised vehicles, TVs and other electrical devices. He was in awe not only with the technology but with all the people and things to try. "Oh Marik. You have to try one of these." I pulled him to a stall at which a man was selling sweets and pastries. I bought us one each and handed it to Marik. "It's called a Baklava. Pastry filled with nuts and soaked in syrup. You'll love it." He studied the pastry intently before taking a bite. He looked genuinely amazed.
"This is amazing!" He spoke, a mouth full of baklava. "Father never let us have anything like this. I must take one back to Ishizu." I handed him a coin and he bought another pastry. After a day of walking around the market buying this and that we headed back to the tomb. Marik went to walk back in but I grabbed his wrist and walked him over to a stone slab and sat down.
"Wait. You'll wanna watch this." He sat next to me as the sun began to set. "The god Ra descending below the horizon into the Duat to regenerate his power before rising again in the morning."
"That's the old religion." Marik spoke under his breath as he stared at the beautiful sunset.
"Doesn't mean it's not true."
The sun dipped below the horizon and Marik turned to me. "This has been amazing. We need to do this date thing again." He smiled widely.
"Of course. I look forward to it."
