Denki Kaminari x reader

"Student exchange? How's that going to work?" Midoriya questioned his teacher.
"As you know we have paired with Shiketsu high and we are running a program that trades one of our students with one of theirs for a full semester. As you may have noticed Hagakure is not here today, She is our exchange student." Aizawa explained, "and taking her place will be miss Y/N, from Shiketsu." I opened the door and walked in. I quickly took the open seat left by the invisible girl who now attended my school. "Care to introduce yourself?" Mr Aizawa sighed.
"Oh. Uh. Hi. I'm Y/N, my quirk is called Feline. I can take on the characteristics of any kind of cat I choose. I can only do one type at a time though. So I can't combine aspects like cheetah speed and tiger claws for example. Due to my quirk and my feline appearance I chose the hero name Bastet, the Egyptian cat goddess. Oh and please refrain from touching my tail. I really don't like it." I explained before retaking my seat.
Come the end of class my desk was surrounded by my eager classmates. "Did you do a hero internship like us?" A bubbly brunette questioned.
"Y-Yes. I worked with the Wild Wild Pussycats, unsurprisingly." I shrugged.
"Does your appearance change depending on what cat your channelling?" A green haired boy asked.
"Yes. My biggest tell is my tail. But I can change into the actual animal with enough concentration and effort. It does get hard to control like that though." I looked around at the people surrounding me and removed my Shiketsu hat. "My ears also change." I focused on cheetah like characteristic and the ears atop my head turned black with white spots on them, then took on more tabby cat traits and they became more brown and pointed. "See. I tend to stay in a cheetah like form as it is easiest for me, I can both fight and flee like this, leopards and servals are other favourites of mine."
"I think that's enough questions for now. We should all be getting ready for our next class." A tall guy in glasses spoke from the front of the room. All bar one walked to their allocated seats. A blond haired guy with a black streak running trough the fringe. It almost looked like a lightening bolt. "Kaminari!" Glasses spoke from the front.
"Oh. Uh yeh. Sorry prez." He laughed before running back to his seat shortly before our next class began.
I was walking back to the dorms alone when I could hear footsteps behind me. "Hey. Wait up." A voice called after me. Once they caught up I could see that it was the blond from before. "I never got to introduce myself before. I'm Kaminari." He grinned. He was so upbeat and energetic. Pretty much my opposite. A drawback of being so feline, I'm rather solitary. It is for that reason I really only have a few friends at Shiketsu. Although, one of them is as loud and energetic as this Kaminari. He does remind me of Inasa.
"Hi." I replied.
"Hey So I never got to ask my question earlier." He stated, facing me, walking backwards. I nodded, gesturing him to continue, "I was gonna ask if you're single." He smirked.
"Yes." I answered. "Shiketsu is quite strict. We aren't permitted to be in relationships with other students."
"Well here at U.A. we're a lot less strict." He smiled.
"Ok." We fell into silence once again.
"Can you roar?" He asked with an intrigued smile.
"Of course. It's easier the more I transform into the animal, and before you ask, Yes. I purr. No, you can't scratch my ears." I sighed. "I'm surprised you didn't lead with that one. Everyone else does."
"Well. You said not to touch your tail so I figured ears were out of the question too." He shrugged.
"Oh. Thanks." I smiled. No one else thought of this before. I opened my bedroom door. "Thanks for walking back with me."
"Me and a few friends are meeting in the common room in about an hour. You wanna come?"
"I guess... I'm not exactly a social creature though." I shrugged, scratching the back of my neck, my ears sitting flat against my head. Kaminari took note of this.
"Hey. You could just talk to me if you want. It would be good for the others to get to know you too."
"I guess."
"Cool. See you then!" He smiled and walked off to his room. I shut the door and leant my forehead against the cold wood. 'It's your first day. You can't fall for someone on the first day.' I thought.
I changed into some casual clothes, a tank top and a pair of shorts. I'd started rereading my notes when there came a knock at the door. I opened the door to see Kaminari. "Hey."
"Wow... I mean, hey." He smiled. "Come on. Everyone is waiting for us." He lead me into the common room.
"Oh great. Pikachu brought his new pet." A blonde boy huffed with a smirk.
"Come on Bakugo. That's not nice man." A redhead spoke from beside him.
I just stepped back, tail between my legs, ears flatter than ever. "I think she's great. It's great to finally have another girl with us!" A girl with pink skin ran up to me and took ahold of my hands. "And she's so pretty. Such cute ears." She reached her hand towards the top of my head but her hand was stopped by Kaminari.
"She doesn't like being touched like a house cat. She's a person just like us." He stated. In that moment I knew, I'd allowed myself to fall for him.

A month later, everyone had just gotten home from quirk training. We'd spent the whole day working on endurance and technique. "I don't think I'll use my claws ever again." I whined stretching my hands. "Sorry if I hurt you Kirishima." I sighed looking across at him with his bandaged forearms. I'd basically used the poor guy as a scratching post all day as he tried to keep his body hard the whole time.
"No. It's okay. I'm fine. Just Kaminari is getting heavy." He groaned. "The dumbass short circuited himself again." He laughed.
"He lasted longer this time, and reached a higher voltage. He's getting better. I wish I had long range attacks like him." I smiled, ruffling Denki's hair as he came round a bit more, enough to walk. I pulled his arm around my shoulders guiding him back to the dorms. "Let's get you back to your room." I smiled.
"Yayyy." He mumbled.
"Mmhmm. Whatever that means." He continued to mumble incoherently as I helped him home.
I sat him on his bed and sat next to him. "How're you feeling now?" I questioned, gently running my fingers through his hair.
"Hm? Uh. Better I guess." He mumbled.
"You're doing Great. Took longer to short yourself out today." I smiled.
"But I'm still doing it." He sighed.
"So what? It's kinda cute. Shows how much effort you're putting in." I shrugged. He just went off rambling about how he needs so much more practice and will never catch up with the rest of the class. I took his hand, placing it on top of my head, he started gently scratching my ears absentmindedly. I subconsciously started purring which brought him out of his thoughts. He quickly retracted his hand.
"I'm so sorry. I didn't even realise I was touching you."
"I let you. Some people find stroking an animal relaxing when their stressed. Plus I enjoy it." I smiled.
"I thought you hated people touching you like that."
"Yes. I do, unless I allow it and want it. I don't mind you doing it." I shrugged with a grin. He hesitantly placed his hand on top of my head and scratched my ears. Again I started purring. I nuzzled my head onto his shoulder and into the crook of his neck. "I don't think I want to go back to Shiketsu." I sighed.
"What?! You have to. You need to become a pro hero!" Kaminari jumped. I pushed him so he was laying on his back and knelt over him, gently knocking his forehead with my knuckles.
"Think about what I'm saying dumb dumb." He just stared up at me shocked and confused. "I want to stay here." He was still wearing a confused expression. "With you..." I blushed, looking away. I dared to look back, he was just smirking.
"I thought you were better off alone?"
"I thought so too." I smiled lightly pressing our noses together. "What did you do to me Kaminari? How many shocks did you hit me with?" I laughed.
"I don't know and I'm not going to question it." He smiled. I just closed the gap, kissing him. I could hardly believe it myself. A solitary creature like myself, allowing myself to be so open and intimate with someone. He wrapped his arms around me, one around my waist the other the back of my neck, his hand up in my hair, his fingertips scratching the back of my ears as we kissed. I pulled back, not wanting to go too far. "Even if you do go back to Shiketsu you'll visit often right?" He sighed.
"Of course. You'll have trouble keeping me out." I smirked.
"So, we're saying that you and me are..."
"Yeh. I guess we could say we're together." I shrugged.
"Awesome. They'll be calling me the lion tamer when I tell the lads!" He grinned.
"Don't Push it sparky. Remember, there's only room for one alpha in this relationship." I smirked.
I can't date anyone at Shiketsu, the rules say nothing about students at UA.
