A Second Too Late.

And you saw her, and she was beautiful.

But her mind was so ugly, and still, you took her under your wing.
You swore that not even death would part you.

And she glanced away for a second and you were gone.

One second, and her entire earth came crashing down as her moon decided to run and play with the stars.

Spinning her off of the orbital she's inhabited for eighteen years.

And you were gone for a second,
And she was gone.

You see it's that one second difference in timing that puts everything in life off.

One second too late, one too soon.

And everything is not how it's meant to be.

Things happen so quickly, don't take it for granted when you still actually have it.

Cause you never know,
You might just be
                                 a second too late.
