She's Waiting

The truth is, she's waiting for that speech.

The one where you tell how different she is and how much she has changed.

The person she has become is not all the same.

Where you challenge all her words and begin to dissect hers.

She's waiting for you to see how she's no longer the same, but the people who would notice is no longer around.

And the people who should see, they don't really care.

See they don't understand and don't know her all that well.

And they miss that simple give and tell.

So she's waiting for something that might not really happen.

And that's why she gets worse.

That's the reason she still hurts.

And so it doesn't get any better and in fact she gets a bit more badder.

And nobody notices.

Because the people that would aren't there.

And the people that should.

They don't care.

So she's waiting on that speech but it never really comes.

You don't see the changes taking place.
You don't see the difference already there.
Until it's too late to stop her and much too late to care.
