Tony watched as his girlfriend- no, his ex girlfriend walked out of his tower and perhaps never coming back. Pepper turned around to look at him one more time, hoping that the billionaire would regret this and apologize.

But Tony didn't move from his spot. He just sent her a sad smile as a goodbye. That was what made Pepper left without thinking anymore. She was tired with him. She was tired of being with someone who didn't love her at all.

Tony sat on the couch and stared blankly at the wall. When he remembered the fight that he had with Pepper, he sighed.

"Why did you say that? Millions of people were watching you!"

Pepper screamed at him. Tony ran his fingers through his hair and groaned. He wasn't sure why would he talked about you during the interview. So he said nothing.

"Tony, Y/N has left years ago. She dumped you and she won't come back. That whore is not worthy of your love!"

Pepper didn't realize that she was crossing the line. Tony glared at the woman with burning rage in his eyes. After all these years, he couldn't stand to hear people insulting you.

"What did you just call her?"

Tony asked coldly. Pepper frowned at his tone of voice. The look in his eyes could kill.

"You dared to call my Y/N a whore? If she's not worthy of my love then you worthy of nothing."

Tony didn't yell, but his words were painful enough to stab Pepper deep in her heart. Tears pooled in her eyes and she shook his head in disbelief.

"I am your girlfriend, Tony. Not her. I know you'll never love me but telling the world that you love Y/N while you're in a relationship with me? You're such a dick, Stark. I can't do this anymore."

She said. She was going to leave him, but she hoped that he would say that he was joking and he still wanted her in his life. But she was wrong.

"Leave, Pepper."

Her eyes grew wide.

"What?"

Tony looked at her with a sad smile on his face.

"I'm such a dick, like you said. I've tried to forget her but I can't. I'm not going to lie to you anymore but I could never love anybody else but Y/N. Go and find your love. I'm sorry."

Tony hung his head low and he heard Pepper scoffed at his words.

"She's happy with someone else and you're here trying to push your happiness away?"

She hissed. Tony didn't say anything. Then she left. He didn't do anything. He wanted you and only you. Even after years, you were still in his heart.

Tony took a deep breathe and felt his heart didn't break this time. His heart was already broken when you left, and he thought that Pepper could help him but she failed.

He was alone, but he hoped that you weren't alone. He hoped that you had someone special that accompanied you in life. Little did he know that you were just as broken as him.

You dragged your feet to the nearest coffee shop and bought a cup of espresso. Then you sat near the window, watching people passed by with happy smiles on their faces.

"Hey there. What's your name?"

You looked up and noticed that a guy was asking your name. Then he sat across you and a dirty smirk was on his face.

"I asked your name, kitten."

He said, this time more with force. His friend came and stood beside you and started to touch your shoulder. You flinched and slapped his hand away.

"What do you want?"

You asked, trying to sound bold. But deep inside, you were terrified. The man looked at you with lust in his eyes.

"What do you say if you leave your coffee and come with me? We can have so much fun."

He winked and you shook your head violently. You were going to leave when his friend grabbed you by your arm harshly. Tears brimmed in your eyes ad fear started to build in your chest.

"Please let me go."

You begged, tears threatened to spill out. They laughed but then a voice stopped them.

"Be a gentleman and let her go."

You knew that voice very well. A voice that you've been desired to hear for years. The voice that could send shivers down your spine.

The men turned to look and realized that it was Tony Stark. He was with Rhodey. Your old friend.

"Tony.."

Your voice cracked. You couldn't believe that you saw him after years. You've missed him so much.

"I believe you don't want any of you to get hurt. Now, leave."

Rhodey warned. The men pushed you so hard that you fell on the floor. They shot Tony and Rhodey dirty looks before leaving.

Tony quickly helped you to stand and worry filled his eyes as he looked at you.

"Are you okay, Y/N?"

You were too shocked. All you could ever do was a nod. He smiled at you softly and wrapped you in a hug. He sighed happily, finally got the chance to hold you.

"I miss you, Y/N."

"I miss you too."

You whispered softly, tears streamed down your face. Rhodey looked at both of you with a sad smile. He knew how much you meant to Tony.

"Don't you miss me, Y/N?"

Rhodey asked, a smirk was painted on his face. You pulled away and chuckled at his words.

"You're still as beautiful as ever."

Tony said. Then he realized what he just said and shook his head with a nervous chuckle under his breathe.

"I'm- I'm sorry. I didn't mean to flirt with you or anything. I know Mark will get mad if he saw us."

Tony faked a laugh. Deep inside, he was dying when he mentioned about Mark. He thought that you were happy with that man.

"I'm not with Mark."

You said awkwardly. Tony frowned and he quickly apologized.

"I'm the one who should apologize, Tony. I was wrong."

You said. Rhodey and Tony looked at each other then looked back at you.

"What do you mean?"
