He was the best part of your life, and your life has been a great life. But he was the best. Without him, your life would completely be emptier and you wouldn't want that.

Tony Stark was a strong man, and you, his wife, definitely knew that. You saw his struggles through his life. You saw him cope with the stress that you thought if you were in his shoes, you would die.

But your husband was strong. He was a hero, for everyone, for you.

Tony always told you that since you came into his life, he smiled wider and he laughed louder. You would blush everytime he said that, and he would smirk--- proud that he managed to get you flustered even after years being married to him.

You and him were different, but you did almost everything together. You were like his sun and he was your moon. Your smile always made him stronger.

But like other couples, you both also had fights. However, big or small the fight was you two always found a way back to each other and the fight would be forgotten and forgiveness was given.

Tony has swore that he would protect you. He would protect you even if it would costs his life. You thought it was just a simple protection like he always gave to you. You felt safe everytime he wrapped his arms around you and he rested his chin on top of your head.

But that day it was different.

He protected you with his life. Literally.

He shielded you from danger and made sure you were back to your shared home safely. You cried and begged for him to let you stay but he shook his head.

"Just go, Y/N. I want you to be safe."

His words still lingered on your mind. His eyes were red and tears pooled in them. Your lips quivered and you were a sobbing mess. He planted a kiss on your forehead and pushed you towards Natasha.

"Nat, make sure she's safe."

He said, a tear escaped his eye. Natasha nodded and forced you to walk away from the falling city. You struggled in her grip but you knew she was much stronger than you.

"Tony, no! Please don't do this.."

You cried out. You looked around you and saw the city was falling down, and your husband was trying to protect it. Natasha was in tears as well, but she had to bring you far from there.

"I love you, sugar."

Tony said for the last time with a smile, before he went to save lives. You couldn't do anything but watched. You finally gave up and hoped that he would be safe. You followed Natasha who brought you to safety.
