"Y/N, please do not walk around here without me."

Loki groaned. You were a few steps ahead and you obviously didn't hear him. He sighed and followed you from behind. You walked into the garden and a gasp escaped your lips.

"Gorgeous."

A simple word came out as a whisper from your mouth and you were awestruck. Loki rolled his eyes and crossed his arms against his chest.

He felt like a babysitter. This was all because of Thor decided to bring you, his best friend from Midgard, to Asgard. At first, you weren't sure whether you should go or not but now you were grateful that you accepted his invitation.

However, Thor was in a meeting with the Allfather. On the other hand, you couldn't just stay in your chambers, you wanted to explore places here. The Allfather won't let him guest wandered around here alone, not you--- it was too dangerous so Loki had been given a task to take care of you.

"Loki, I've never seen these flowers before."

You said in awe. Loki's eyes landed on the flowers that you were looking at and he nodded.

"There are no such flowers in Midgard. In Asgard, the flowers, the places, the buildings, almost everything are better."

He said smugly. You decided to play along as you walked closer towards him and smirked.

"The people, too. I mean look at you. I've never seen someone as dashing as you."

You batted your eyelashes and smiled sweetly at him. Loki straightened his back and cleared his throat, trying to pull himself together. He won't let you make your way into his heart. No, you were a simple mortal in his eyes. Nothing more.

"I believe you'll love our royal library."

He said, walking away from you. Your eyes widen in surprise but it was a good surprise. You quickly kept up with his pace and grinned.

"A library?"

"A royal library, my lady."

"Your lady?"

You raised your eyebrows at him. Loki just chuckled and shook his head. You decided not to say anything on the way to the library. It was good to have his company. He wasn't as cold as the others would say.

You were still in the garden, on your way to the library when you spotted a bird on the groud. It was injured, as you kneeled down and picked it up.

Loki frowned when he saw you kneeled down on the ground, not even caring about your dress that would get dirty. He came closer and he saw you were picking up an injured bird.

"Oh, what happen to this precious little bird?"

You said in small voice. Loki was unconsciously smiling at your doing. His mind was telling him that you were different, your heart was so pure.

"Let me take a look at it."

Loki offered. You gave him the bird and he frowned when he saw the bird was not injured badly.

"It'll be fine, Y/N. It's nothing bad. It just fell from its nest."

Loki smiled. You looked at him suspiciously.
