It all happened too quickly. Too quick that your brothers couldn't believe it. In a split second, you weren't in the arms of Thor. Just like that, Loki saw you died by his very own eyes.

Your death was a tragic demise that shouldn't happen to anyone. It was painful, and it hurt your brothers to know that they failed to save you.

You were their only sister, their beloved girl, you were their moon and their stars. You were the light in Loki's life when he thought he was in a forever darkness. You were the joy in Thor's days and nights, knowing that you would always be there to make him smile.

You were an innocent soul, gentle and kind, you didn't deserve to die like this. You were killed by the enemy of the Allfather. They knew you were his youngest child, his only daughter that Odin loved very much. You were cared by your brothers like a fragile glass.

But it happened.

They were too late to come and rescue you.

When they arrived, you were long gone.

Thor was walking through the hall when he felt tears pricked in the corner of his eyes. It felt like yesterday when you were running in the hall, laughing like a little girl, while Thor was hot on your tail.

"You can't catch me, brother!"

Your voice was ringing on his mind like a broken record. For a moment, Thor wanted it to stop. But then he realised that he didn't want it to go.

Thor could see him tackling you on the ground, gently not to hurt you. You were laughing until tears rolled down upon your face. He laughed along with you and claimed his victory.

"Why are you so fast, Thor?"

Your whine was still fresh on his mind. The memory was played again and again before his eyes like you were still there, breathing and safe.

Thor took a deep breathe and noticed that Loki was standing at the end of the hall, his eyes were glassy. The younger brother looked almost vulnerable, the loss of his lovely sister was killing him.

"Do you miss her, Thor?"

Loki's voice showed his sorrow. Thor sighed and nodded weakly. He kept his tears at bay but only him knew how dejected he was to lose you.

"I do. I miss her very much."

Thor mumbled, his heart was aching. Loki walked towards his brother, every step he took was agonizing, as he remembered that if he walked fast enough to get you--- you would still be here with him; safe and sound.

"I.. I saw Y/N in my dream again last night."

Loki told his brother. A tear escaped his eye but he quickly wiped it away. He had to he strong, for you. You wouldn't want him to mourn you for so long.

"She... She was looking as beautiful as ever. Our sister was smiling. When she talked, she sounded in a jocular mood."

Loki chuckled half-heartedly. Thor frowned slightly, he knew Loki was affected by your death more than him. To be honest, he started to worry about his well-being.

"I miss her, Thor. I can't believe that she's not here with us. She was too young and innocent, why would her fate betrayed her like this?"

Loki bellowed. Thor put a hand on the younger brother's shoulder and looked at him.
