⭐ Are We Over? | Stephen Strange

Your relationship with Stephen was sweet. It was one of your greatest gifts in life. You were one of the Avengers, and when Stephen came to the tower, you both were introduced.

It started from there. A very beautiful relationship.

But now fights were usual for both of you. It seemed like there was always something that you would fight with him. Everything you did was just wrong in his eyes and everything he said was just wrong in your eyes.

The chemistry that you both got from the start of the relationship faded away in time. There were more fights than talks. There were more crying than laughing. There were more hate than love.

And today was no different from any other day---

"Can you please just listen to me, Y/N?"

Stephen was annoyed with you. You were bringing up about a small matter and it has became bigger now. You shook your head.

"No, Stephen. I don't want to listen to you anymore."

You scoffed. Stephen curled his hands in fists and clenched his jaw. Rage was burning in his chest.

"Christine is my friend, Y/N!"

"Whatever you say it doesn't make any sense anymore, Stephen!"

The screaming match between you and Stephen would end up with you being in tears and he would left the room to calm his mind.

But it was different today.

You didn't cry. He didn't leave.

You both were staring at each other with fire in your eyes. Both were finding mistakes and were ready to blame each other.

Everything was just wrong.

"What's happening to us?"

You whispered, tears pooled in your eyes but you won't let yourself cry. Not today.

"It's your fault. All of this mess is because of you, Stephen."

Without thinking, you blamed him for the falling relationship. His eyes grew wide and you knew he was going to say something hurtful.

"No, Y/N. We would be just fine if you don't be such a bitch."

He spat. You bit your lip and tried to hold back your tears from falling. You won't let him win. No matter how wrong you were or how wrong he was, you didn't care.

"I should've known better not to date someone like you."

He added. Your walls crumbles as a tear rolled down upon your cheek. Your lips quivered and you wanted to slap him, but you couldn't. It hurt too much.

"You're right. You shouldn't date a bitch like me."

You said. Stephen seemed to realize what he just said and he sighed. You looked him in the eyes and nodded weakly.

"I should've known better not to date someone like you, Stephen. You're toxic for me. You're ruining my life."

If he wanted to hurt you with words, then so be it. You also could throw some painful words into the fight. Stephen didn't flinch or said anything. He shut his mouth.

"I'm leaving."

That triggered him. Stephen looked at you with wide eyes but nothing came out of his mouth. He watched as you walked into once your shared room and packed your things.

He watched as you walked out of the house and he didn't even want to run after you. He blamed you for everything and you put the blame on him.

It was over.
