I gaze at my hand and remember how I touched that wolf earlier.

Napailing ako kasabay ng pagdausdos ng tubig sa aking buong katawan. I should be more careful the next time he mess again on my life.

Nawala sa isip ko na maaring maiwan ang amoy niya sa aking katawan. And vampire can easily smell him from me. Especially that he is a wolf, a higher one.

How could I be so reckless on forgetting about that simple thing? Siguro dahil nanaman ito sa kaniya. May ginagawa siya kaya ako nagkakaganito.

I closed and heave a sigh before I wrapped my naked flesh with a towel. Hindi ako mahilig mang akusa, but this past few days ay nagiging ganoon ako. And I hate myself for being that girl.

I suppose to make the rules and not to disobey my own orders. Not at this situation.

Nang makalabas ako mula sa paliguan ay ang siyang pagbungad sa akin ng mukha ni Mira. She's lying on my bed, staring at me with her infamous grin.

Kumunot ang noo ko habang nakatitig rin pabalik sa kaniya.

"Surprise?" She asked and sat on my own bed.

Kulang ang salitang iyon dahil higit pa roon ang nararamdaman ko ngayon.

"Kailan ka pa narito?" My brows are both crumpled by her sudden appearance, not just that but the fact that there's something off about her.

"Since the day Harilia Vaste's welcomed the two of you, I am already enrolled here that long that i-"

"No, kailan ka pa narito sa kwarto ko?"I cut her off as she look at me like I said something that she didn't understand.

"Kanina lang? Why?" Confusion is already written in her face, but instead of answering her, ay minabuti ko na lamang na lagpasan siya at pumunta sa kabilang dulo ng silid, and as I passed her I felt the same feeling earlier.

Surprise is not the right term as I look at her once again and this time a victorious smile is visible on her pale face.

"Surprise?"

I stop my mouth to ask. A shiver run down on my spine as she repeat that question. Pakiramdam ko may ibang kahulugan ang tanong na iyon.

Mira is Mira, I already know her pero sa pagkakataon na ito ay may mali sa kaniya, she is the closest to the word friend that I have. Matagal na kaming magkasama. I can smell her from a far distance and can even feel her presence even if she's on the next room. But right now, I couldn't smell nor feel her.

Nasa harap ko siya, nakikita ko pero wala akong maramdaman.

"Get off of my bed, nagugusot" Elise even rolled her eyes to gain herself again, at the same time is to escape from Mira's shady question.

Mira on the other hand look much more happier habang pinagmamasdan siya nitong maupo sa harap ng salamin.

It is creepy yet she can't say it aloud. She don't want anyone to know na nakakaramdam siya ng takot sa kahit kanino. She is an heiress, and that alone should be a reason. Kaya hindi siya pwedeng makaramdam noon

"You really won't ask kung bakit ngayon lang ako nagpakita sayo? Nakakasakit ka na talaga Elise"

Mula sa repleksyon ng salamin ay nakikita niya kung paano umarte na tila nasasaktan ito.

Her eyes squinted as she stared at Mira. She's not interested to know why but it is more good to start a conversation than to act suspicious in front of her.

"Would you mind telling me why?"

Mira chuckled and explain to her the reason. Madaldal ang babae, so she's expecting to get information but to her dismay ay puro tungkol lamang ito sa pinsan niyang si Athalia.

"I really hate her, ako kasi dapat ang nasa kabilang kwarto! I even bribe my dad to give me that room but unfortunately mas malakas ang mga Valentin. But..."

"But what?" It wasn't interesting, pero dahil nasimulan na niyang magtanong ay itutuloy na niya.

Mira look at the ceiling, a grin is already visible on her face. Isang bagay na pamilyar sa kaniya, sa mga oras na ito tiyak niyang may kalokohang naiisip ang magaling niyang kaibigan.

"That, my friend, is something I can't say as of now, but soon I will"

That's the last thing she heard bago ito lumayas sa kwarto niya.
