*sigh*

Teacher: is there something wrong, Akashi sensei?

Tetsuya: you see...*whisper*

Teacher: Eh? Did you lose your wedding ring?

Tetsuya: I seem. Have misplaced it when I was cleaning my hands after I was done painting

Teacher: will your husband be mad?

Tetsuya: I don't think he would... Seijuro kun is never the kind to get angry on material things, but... *touching his finger* this is the first time it's been off my finger this long

Teacher: that's nice... Your husband is not a material person I mean...

Tetsuya: I once took it off before but I had a dog back then and because of him I found it faster but since he is not here anymore... I guess I have to look for it on my own

Teacher: I bet your ring cost a lot... Since you know your husband is a CEO

As the day pass

Tetsuya could not help but think of the ring and would sometimes space out

When he returned home
He continues searching for the ring

Then one day Akashi holds Akashi's hand and said: "I've been noticing it for a while but...where is your ring?"

Tetsuya confesses what happened and look down looking upset "sorry I lost it"

Akashi crossed his hands and Tetsuya was worried Akashi is angry but Akashi suddenly smiles and said "so it's missing in our backyard, I'm sure we'll find it... But I'm glad you try your hard to find it"

Tetsuya: you're not angry?

Akashi: did you think I would be?

Tetsuya: no... But...

Akashi: don't worry. We'll find it besides... After 17 years of being married, I don't think we need that ring that much anyway

Tetsuya was relieved

Akashi then calls out his kids and asked them to help and told Tetsuya "lets us look for it now"

Tetsuya smile and watch them look hard for a single ring

*meow"

Tetsuya: kou-chan...*smile* I wish you can find things too

*meow*

Kou lay on Tetsuya's lap as he sits and fell asleep

In the afternoon they all search high and low and despite not finding any ring everyone was smiling and laughing and up playing around
They were all covered with grass and dirt that they end up rolling around like children

As the sunsets

They stop searching
The kids went inside to clean themselves up

Tetsuya and Akashi sat on the ground watching the sun
Akashi kisses Tetsuya and said "looks like we can't find that ring anywhere"

Tetsuya lay his head on Akashi's shoulder " I had fun today, though"

Akashi: me too

Tetsuya look at his finger and smile "I feel like I'm still wearing it though"

Akashi hold Tetsuya's hand and said "it's too bad that the ring is gone but at least we're not"

Moment later

They stood up and decided to head inside
When they saw kou-chan digging for something

Akashi: kou... Your gonna get dirty from there... Let's go and take bath with mommy and daddy

*meow*
Tetsuya grabs Kou-chan  and the three of them head inside

the next morning 

Tetsuya woke up notices Akashi still sitting on the bed

Tetsuya: good morning Seijuro kun 

Tetsuya sits up and Akashi kisses him " good morning"

Tetsuya notices Akashi putting his ring back on his finger

Tetsuya: you are still putting back your ring even though I lost mine

Akashi smiles and shows off his ring saying "I'd like to keep it on, it makes it easier to say I am Tetsuya, Seijuro kun forever"

Tetsuya blushes ... "Bakashi"
