Chapter 41

"BYE GALS!! HAPPY HA-burp-HALLOWEEN!! WE'LL SEE YOU TOMORROW!!!" Amethyst slurred loudly, waving maniacally at us. I waved back, giggling a bit as Lapis only nodded in Amethyst's direction. Pearl, who stood next to Ame, rolled her eyes and shook her head. We walked to my car, and we both hopped in. "So, what else are you planning for this sPoOkY night?" I asked mockingly, starting the car.

"Can't tell ya." Lapis replied quickly, putting on her seatbelt. I raised an eyebrow in curiosity, and tilted my head. "Alright. Where to?" I asked, backing up into actual road that wasn't dirt. "Let's head to our dorm." she said, side-glancing me. Our dorm? "Woowww... our dorm... so intriguing..." I gushed, trying to hold back my laugh. Lapis rolled her eyes and chuckled, turning her head in my direction. "Just do it." "Okayyy, you're the boss..." I muttered, still not taking Lapis seriously enough. She probably got too tired but doesn't wanna admit. She wants to go to beeeeedddd heheheh!

"Can you tell me what we're doing now?" I asked, closing the door behind us as we entered our dorm. Lapis walked to the bathroom and looked into the mirror at her slightly smeared makeup. "Nope." she replied, scratching her nose. "When are you gonna tell me then?! Am I gonna have to stay in this costume all night?!" I asked irritatingly. "Nope." she repeated, turning the faucet on. "Then what're we doing?" I asked one more time, leaning against the doorframe.

I had to wait for Lapis to completely wash all of the makeup off, and she looked up at me. "Dry your face." I deadpanned, watching water drip from her chin. She snorted, and grabbed a towel, drying her soaked face. "Now it's my turn." I stated, pushing her aside and proceeding to wash my makeup off. "Lapis, tell me the truth. Are you really just tired? We can go to sleep if you want. We already went to a halloween party! And it was pretty fun." I explained, now towel-drying my face as well.

However, I only received silence in response, and I grunted. Once I walked back out to the room, Lapis stood there timidly. "I'm gonna get outta this." I grumbled, tugging at my uncomfortable costume. Lapis nodded in reply, and walked back into the bathroom after I exited. "Stay where you are. I'll be right out!" the bluenette called from the restroom, and I hummed in response. I peeled the costume off of my tired body. I tossed it to the side, and sighed loudly, reaching for my drawer for fresh clothes.

The bathroom door then opened, and my head snapped in the direction of it. I blushed shyly, knowing I was half-naked still. Lapis slowly walked out of the bathroom with her shoulders tensed and footsteps tiny. She still had her costume on, and it just looked a bit ruffled. "H-hey Peridot..." she said quietly, and I squinted my eyes. "Yeahhhh...?" I continued reaching into my drawer for clothes, but as soon as I pulled them out, Lapis reached for them. She pushed them downward, until I finally released and let them fall to the floor. I looked up at her, feeling an intense blush coming on.

Lapis placed her hands on my shoulders, and leaned down to kiss me. After a moment of slight surprise, I kissed back, sliding my hands to her back. I felt Lapis's hands trail down my hips, and I shivered. Her hands suddenly scooped underneath my thighs, and she hoisted me up, causing me to squeak. She carried me to her bed, and dropped me onto it. I blushed darkly, looking up at her in pure curiosity and slight confusion. She hovered over me, with both of her hands planted beside either side of my head.

"L-Lapis?" I squeaked, staring into her deep blue eyes. However, she did not reply and leaned down, lightly kissing the side of my neck. I tilted my chin a little, feeling my previously faded blush burn bright again. She began to pepper kisses all the way down my neck, and reached my collarbone. Once she reached that spot, she leaned back up and kissed me on the lips. I shut my eyes and eagerly kissed back, feeling a bit hot and bothered. Lapis pushed her tongue through my closed lips into my mouth roughly, and I groaned quietly.
