Roger and I were currently sat in the recording studio. It was extremely late but it was nice to finally have some alone time without the lads there, as much as we adored them. My legs were resting over his thighs as he hand rubbed my ankles soothingly. We were just chilling on the couch, chatting about everything and anything we thought of.

"So have you got any demos for me then?" I asked curiously, flicking through the sheet music that has accumulated on the panel.

"Well I've only written one song for the album, but the lads don't really like it too much" He shrugged.

"So what is it? A love song? An opera, which I see is the theme of the album this time?" I asked.

"A love song" he smirked at me.

My heart fluttered a little bit, what a sweetheart writing a song about me! I can't believe the lads didn't like it though, I will be having words.

"What's it called?" I said, trying not to reveal my school girl excitement.

"I'm in love with my car" He grinned, nodding his head.

I threw my feet out of his hands and looked at him with wide eyes.

"You wrote a love song about your car?" I asked in shock.

"Well, Yes?" He said, but it came out as more of a question.

"I got excited for a moment then, thought you'd written one for me like Freddie did for Mary" I gave him a false pout and he looked a bit guilty.

"Well, I wrote this song a while ago- I'm sure I'll be able to make one for you too. I've just never been in love like the other lads have, it's a bit weird to finally write one about a girl that I love I guess" he said honestly, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Aw, Rog I was joking anyway. But thank you for being so honest with me. I don't mind if you never write me a love song, I'd say they're rather overrated anyway. I'd rather be compared to a car, I know how much you love them so it's a compliment actually" I smirked, inching nearer to him.

"Well you're better than any car I've ever seen, and you know that that was the biggest compliment I could ever give anybody" He grinned, trying to suppress a laugh.

"Oh I must be gorgeous then" I retorted sarcastically, pulling myself up to straddle his waist.

"You most certainly are" He mumbled as he leant in to kiss my neck.

I let out a moan as his teeth nibbled at my skin, most likely leaving some lovely bruises for me to discover in the morning.

"I love you, Roger Taylor" I breathed.

"I love you too, babe" He mumbled into my skin, moving his kisses up to my jawline and finally onto my lips.

Bri, Roger, Deacy and I were sat eating some breakfast that surprisingly Roger had made. John had to help him sometimes, as he almost burnt the bacon whilst watching the toaster. However, it ended up to be very tasty, which means that he will be cooking more in the future.

"I just don't see why you wouldn't want my song on the album, that's all" Roger shrugged, shovelling more bacon on to each of our plates.

"I'm in love with my car?" Brian asked, laughing.

"It's a metaphor" Roger shrugged.

"I happen to love it Bri, I think it's poetic" I defended.

I didn't really, the song wasn't their best by a long way. However, after hearing his reasoning for it I couldn't help but feel bad for the boy, so I had to stand up for him.

"You're both utterly bonkers, you're only sticking up for him because he's your boyfriend" Brian argued, holding his own song in his hands.

"Let's read yours then?" I asked, crossing my arms.

"Okay, here" he passed it over.

Sweet Lady?

Sounds fine so far... but I have to find something weird about it. As I skimmed through the words my laughter almost got the better of me when I came over a certain line. Roger grinned in victory and I pointed out the line that I was laughing at.

"You call me sweet, like I'm some kind of cheese?" Roger smirked.

"It's poetic" Brian said softly, taking a bite out of his toast.

"Poetic? It's bollocks" Roger scoffed.

"Well, you did write a whole song about your car Rog. Maybe one bad line isn't too much worse?" John tried to keep the peace like always.

"For gods sake it's a metaphor!" He argued.

"But what exactly does it mean? It's just a bit weird, Roger" John shrugged.

"I'm going to lose it in a minute" He shook his head looking at me.

"So tell me Roger? What is the sexiest part of a car" Brian teased.

Freddie walked in at this point and was listening to the whole ordeal unfold before him.

"Could you all just shut up!" He was starting to get angry.

"Calm down Roger, there's only room in this band for one hysterical queen" Freddie kissed his teeth before leaving the room.

"It's just not strong enough, Rog. With my hand on your grease gun? Very subtle" Brian shrugged.

"Oh really? Is this strong enough for you?" Roger asked, throwing a piece of bacon at Brian's face.

"Roger" I warned, but he carried on.

"Why do I hang out with these" I sighed, resting my head in my hands in disbelief.

Roger continued to throw things, getting larger and probably more painful as he went on. Suddenly he picked up something big, pulling the plug from the socket.

"Not the coffee machine!" Both Brian and Deacy said in union.

He sighed and slammed it down on the worktop before storming over to the pantry.

"I'm locking myself in here until you let me have I'm in love with my car on the new album" He said childishly, and slammed the door behind him.

"No way" Brian laughed.

"He's joking? Right? He is joking isn't he?" I asked, looking at the other two.

"I highly doubt that he is, he can get very stubborn about his songs" Brian shrugged, standing up to leave the barn.

"You can't leave, just let him have his one song on the album. It will be a classic!" I shouted at him as he left.

He turned and held his hands up in surrender before turning back and leaving John and I.

"John... you know it means a lot to him. You lot already have your songs on the album, give him one at least" I begged.

"I'll go talk to Fred" he smiled, nodding at me, before leaving the room.

"You're welcome!" I shouted over at the pantry door.

"Thank you!" He shouted back, but it was muffled by the door.

"Are you seriously staying in there?" I tried to hold in my laugh.

"Yes! There's food so I'll be fine" he assured.

"For gods sake Taylor why are you so stubborn?" I groaned, and sat with my back against the pantry door.

"Are you still there?" He asked quietly.

"Yes, I'm not just going to leave you locked in a pantry alone am I?" I giggled, knocking on the door.

What do I do for love?
