Life went on of course. It may have been more stressful and felt rather rushed. But it went on.

Freddie got sicker as the 'treatment' progressed, and a month had passed by the time they even thought about making anymore music.

They knew that a tour would never happen again, but were grateful that their last one was one filled with hope and happiness, not sadness and grieving for the end of an era.

I go round more or less everyday with Lizzie and sometimes Roger, although he was finding it very difficult to come to terms with the news and it was taking him some time to fully get into the new routine.

Today they were in the studio, recording some songs for the album. I decided that I'd bring Lizzie along to give the lads some treats and coffees. Also, Freddie and Roger love it when Elizabeth is here, which makes me smile as I see their faces light up when they see her.

"Hiya boys" I grinned, pushing Lizzie's pushchair into the studio and gripping ahold of the tray of overflowing coffee cups in one hand.

"Lizzie!" Freddie grinned, walking over to the pushchair and instantly bobbing down to her height.

"Hello to you too, Fred" I laughed, rolling my eyes at the singer, who stood up quickly and hugged me.

"Oh sorry, here let me help you" He stressed, taking the coffees from me and passing them around.

"Thanks, Fred" I laughed, shaking my head at him in amusement.

"It's okay, the lads are recording their parts do you want to come in?" He asked, and I nodded excitedly.

I hadn't heard much from this album, but I was eager to listen to it all as soon as possible. According to Roger, 'Innuendo' was the name of the album, which is also the name of one of their new songs, written by Rog and Freddie.

"They're playing a song that I think might surprise you" He smirked, wiggling his eyebrows as he spoke.

"Oh god, it's not another car song is it" I cringed, pushing the pram through the studio to find the lads.

"Oh don't be silly, we'll never let that happen again" He shushed, which I understood and replied with a giggle.

When I turned the corner I witnessed something that I hadn't seen in what felt like years. The three of them were messing around, playing stupidly with their headphones on as they joked.

Brian was telling roger off for holding his 'red special' and Deacy was just playing riffs in the corner. It was a sight that I wish could be captured, however I'd much rather witness it myself.

"So what's the song then?" I asked, not breaking my gaze from the boys on the other side of the glass.

"We'll play it for you" He nodded, joining them in the next room.

All of their heads shot up and they all sent me a wave and a grin before grabbing their instruments and starting.

As soon as Roger began to play the intro I knew that it was our wedding song, however in the current situation it became more poignant.

"Sometimes it seems like lately, I just don't know
The rest of my life's been, just a show"

"The bad things in life were so few"

Even though Roger wrote this song for us as a representation of our love, the song had never had so much meaning. This will be Freddie's last album, which is something that hasn't quite sunk in until now.

I leant back and watched the four guys singing happily, and their smile was mirrored onto my face. I decided to hop into the room as they sang and sat near Roger with Lizzie bouncing around in my lap.

She gargled and tried to lean towards Roger, who stopped hitting his bongo drums and grabbed her with a smile. She leant forward and patted the drums with her hands, not purposely, but it was cute either way.

Roger laughed as she banged the drums, wiggling his eyebrows at me as she 'played'.

"Roger, what are you doing?" Freddie asked, stopping his singing to turn around.

His smile got wider when he noticed Lizzie gurgling over the drum kit.

"Ah you are raising her well" He said, throwing his hand over his chest in happiness.

"Thanks Freddie, but I don't think she got the musical side from me" I giggled, and John sat down next to me.

"I don't know, Rose. You're a mean triangle player" He joked, nudging me.

"Shut up, Deacy" I laughed, shaking my head at him.

We all eventually gathered around and began to chat for hours about everything, just like we used to do every night.

"So you're using our wedding song in the new album then?" I asked with a smile, leaning my head against Roger who was holding Lizzie in his arms.

"Yeah, hope you don't mind" He nodded sheepishly, giving me hopeful eyes.

"Of course, it's perfect" I grinned, looking at all of the smiling boys around me.

"Good, I absolutely loved the song. It's even going to have a video" Freddie enthused, sending me an excited grin.

"Oh wow! Can I come along when you video it?" I asked, and he nodded.

"Obviously, darling" He said and laughed at me.

"I can't wait" I smiled, looking around at the lads with a huge grin on my face.
