I rushed down the stairs, getting scolded by Roger for not being careful enough, before opening the door quickly.

"Hi!" I grinned, and Roger came up behind me, wrapping an arm around my waist.

There stood Freddie, with a very handsome guy standing next to him. He seemed to have similar features to Freddie actually, with his striking moustache and piercing eyes.

"Hello darlings, this is Jim" Freddie beamed, and I swear it was the first time I'd seen him this happy in what seemed like years.

"I'm Rose, this is Roger" I greeted, shaking his hand politely with a smile.

"Please come in" Roger nodded, and we all went into the living room.

I got together some teas and coffees before relaxing on the couch with my mug, listening to the new pair intently.

"How did you meet then, Fred?" Roger asked, lazily wrapping his arm over my shoulders when I sat down.

"At one of my parties, he was working there and we just got chatting after everyone had gone" Freddie beamed, holding Jim's hand in his.

"Oh gosh you two are so cute I can hardly contain my excitement" I giggled, and Roger gave me a funny look and a nudge.

"It's fine Roger, I'm glad you approve" Freddie added, giving Jim a side glance jokingly.

"So, Jim. Are you going on tour with the lads?" I asked, sipping my tea.

"Yeah I am actually... Live Aid was my first rock gig, so this is going to be odd for me" He laughed.

"You'll be fine trust me, if this little midget can do it so can you" Roger joked, squishing my cheek with his fingers.

"Oi! I'm actually really hard I will have you know" I huffed.

"Not flipping likely" He retorted and I just gave him a scowl.

"You have all of this to look forward to" Roger rolled his eyes jokingly and I head butted him lightly with my forehead.

"What time are you all going tomorrow?" I asked sadly, sipping my tea with a pout.

"Well that's what I came for actually too... we need to go tonight, there's been some kind of mix up" Freddie said nervously, and my heart dropped.

It was a good thing we'd stayed in bed for such a long time, as that will have been the last time in weeks that I would share a bed with Rog.

"Oh" I sighed, giving Roger sad eyes.

"No, I'm going tomorrow Freddie" He refused, shaking his head angrily.

"Roger, don't get angry, this is more important" I breathed, resting my head against his shoulder.

He began to rub circles into my shoulder lovingly and planted a kiss to the top of my head.

"Nothing is more important to me than having my last day here with you, you're fucking pregnant for gods sake" He huffed.

"I'm sorry Roger, Miami only told me this morning" He sighed.

Jim gave me a confused look when Freddie said Miami, so I mouthed 'manager' and he nodded understandably. Why does he get to go? I know it's not his fault but it feels like everyone is going on this bloody tour except me.

"I'll go in the car, meet them wherever they are tomorrow" He suggested, but Freddie shot his idea down again.

"I'm sorry but the plane leaves tonight, that's the issue"

"Are you joking? This is bollocks, how did they fuck up so bad?" He growled, and I could see his jaw clenching and fists tightening with every word.

"Roger I'll be fine, we can spend all day together and I'll come with you to the airport, just like we would have done tomorrow" I nodded, trying to reassure him.

He just gave me another guilty look before kissing my forehead again and sighing angrily.

I was absolutely livid that he had to go today, as we had a few nice things planned that were now ruined. And no offence to Jim, but now we have to do things with other people instead of spending the day alone like we would have done. Not to mention that we woke up at one, so I suppose that comes with its downfalls too.

As if reading my mind, Freddie and Jim stood up as if they were about to leave.

"I'm sorry Rose, we'll go and leave you two to it" Freddie nodded.

"It was lovely meeting ya's, I hope you see you soon" Jim smiled, speaking with his thick Irish accent.

"Yes it was lovely, I'll see you in a few hours" I hugged the two men and off they went.

As soon as I closed the door behind them, I felt the muscular arm of Roger Taylor wrap around my shoulder and spun me around to face him. Immediately, he leant down and kissed my lips passionately, not even giving me anytime to breathe.

"I really don't want you to go Roger" I mumbled in between breaths and kisses.

"Shut up and let's forget about that for a few hours yeah?" He asked, and I could see the pain in his eyes.

It must be hard for him, to leave his pregnant wife at home whilst he goes off on tour. But it was either let down me, who he can make it up to by just being there, or let down stadiums filled with fans. There was no competition, it would always be the tour that won. I wasn't angry though, as I was the one who pushed him to go, whilst he wanted to cancel the Magic tour completely.

He pushed some hair behind my ear and twiddled it between his fingers for a while,  most likely savouring the last few touches before we would part for a whole month. It may not sound like a long time, but when you're ready to give birth it sounds like a lifetime away.
