Time skip to the end of the tour

The year had gone by extremely quickly, with the tour going amazingly and obviously our engagement. The void I got sucked into with being constantly self conscious eventually fizzled out when Roger and the other lads convinced me that I had nothing to worry about.

"So, I have decided that I might buy these" Freddie smiled, showing us all some pictures of a whole street of houses.

"This one for me and the cats, this one for Mary, and then the others for you guys" Freddie said excitedly, pointing at each of the extravagant homes.

"Freddie, Veronica and I just moved when the baby came along last year" John said, furrowing his eyebrows.

"Yeah Fred, I think Rose and I prefer a more small and intimate setting. But those houses are grand, really nice" he nodded, and I mirrored his action.

It wasn't a lie though, Roger and I have always said that we didn't want a huge mansion as we don't want to spend too much time drifting apart. Plus if we have children we only want two at the most so why would we need a huge house? Smaller houses are more intimate and homely anyway. I am more than happy with our tiny London flat at the moment.

"Ah, we'll you'll have to visit Mary and I as much as you can, dears" He kept his smile strong and stuffed the photographs back into his bag.

"We will, Freddie" I smiled, hugging him to cheer him up.

"I'll just have to make sure I hide the cats, because they seem to like you more than me and I can't have them scurrying home in your handbag" He chuckled and patted my leg.

"But I love your cats" I pouted.

"Fine, but I'm doing a paw count before you leave, and checking your possessions for loose kittens" He joked.

"Sounds reasonable" I said and leaned back over to Roger.

Roger and I went back to our flat and I couldn't help but feel like I was holding him back from buying extravagant homes and cars that he could be buying with his well earned money.

"You don't want to get a bigger house, do you?" I asked curiously.

"No, I mean maybe we could move from the flat to a house? I know it's not what you want, and in all honesty neither do I. I like it when I can hear you singing in the kitchen when I wake up in the bedroom. I like the fact that the shower curtain always falls off, and you scream every time. Oh and we always burn the food and have to get a takeaway. These are small insignificant details to some people, but to me they are what make our relationship that bit extra more special" He said honestly, and a smile tugged at my lips in joy.

"I never knew that you felt like that" I smiled, walking over to him slowly.

"Well, Yeah. I know I have the money to buy this stuff and if you want it I'll get it, but I'm not really bothered for these big houses and stuff, I don't want to let the money consume me" He nodded.

"I completely agree, but I think it would only be fair to say that you can buy a car or two" I giggled, and his eyes lit up in excitement.

"Well then, I should start looking out for some nice cars then, eh?" He asked, and I could already see his mind mentally deciding which car he would buy.

"Don't kid yourself, Taylor. We all know that you have an exact model, shape, brand and colour in mind already" I laughed.

"Ford, Mustang, Black" He said shamefully, leaning his head down.

"Well then, go out and get one" I ordered.

"Don't worry, as soon as we're settled down I will" He grumbled, pulling me towards him.

"Roger Taylor we are settled down" I said obviously, wiggling the ring in front of his face.

"Oh yeah, I'll sort it later" He added.

"You are the most lazy yet active famous I have ever met" I said, and he gave me a confused look.

"Whatever" He dragged me down to lie on the bed beside him.

"Look at us... we're getting old and boring. We used to go out clubbing, partying. Now we talk about weddings and cars" I moaned, putting my left hand on his chest.

"If you think that 29 is old then you have another thing coming" He scoffed, rolling on his side to look at me.

"That is true. But really, should we gather the lads? Go clubbing?" I asked excitedly.

"Yeah, go on then" He smiled back and I rushed over to the phone.

Of course they all said yes and we began to get ready.

By the time I was ready I had to wait for Roger, who had to 'sort out his hair'. His hair was naturally messy, but it looked good. What was he actually doing with that hair?

When he finally came out he took one look at me and shook his head.

"Nope, that's too short! I can't have other guys looking at you" He huffed, pulling the skirt down my thighs as much as he could.

"Aw thanks, I took inspiration from your dick" I joked, grabbing his hand and dragging his shocked self from the building.

"Excuse me-" He said.

"Yes?" I interrupted.

"My dick is not short" He defended.

"Mhm" I winked, waiting for a cab.

"Take that back" He said, nudging me lightly.

"Take back that your dick is small? I never lie Roger" I said, holding my heart jokingly.

"Yes, Take it back" He said, pointing his finger at me.

"Okay your dick is not small" I nodded, kissing him on the nose as the taxi rolled up.

"Thank you" He breathed, as though it was some kind of achievement.

"Your welcome" I laughed, dragging him into the cab, which we directed to Freddie's house.
