It's me again God,
I love You so much and feel so blessed to be out enjoying the beautiful countryside! There is something so special about being immersed in nature —it just draws me closer to You, the Maker of it all!
This passage from the prophet Isaiah came to mind as I travelled along over mountains and hills with vast stretches of green pastures and trees around me:
"Seek the LORD while He may be found,
Call upon Him while He is near.
Let the wicked forsake his way,
And the unrighteous man his thoughts;
Let him return to the LORD,
And He will have mercy on him;
And to our God,
For He will abundantly pardon."
Isaiah 55:6-7 NKJV
ThankYou that I can come to You anytime, even when I have sinned. I am so blessed that all of my sins are forgiven in Jesus!
""For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways," says the LORD.
"For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts."
Isaiah 55:8-9 NKJV
If it were up to me, I would think that my sins were too great for Your forgiveness but Your thoughts are not my thoughts. I am so grateful that Your ways are much higher than mine!
""For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,
And do not return there,
But water the earth,
And make it bring forth and bud,
That it may give seed to the sower
And bread to the eater,
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it."
Isaiah 55:10-11 NKJV
Your Word has gone out and reached me! It surely has accomplished many amazing things in my life over many years and I believe and declare it will continue to do so, according to Your Will!
""For you shall go out with joy,
And be led out with peace;
The mountains and the hills
Shall break forth into singing before you,
And all the trees of the field shall clap their hands."
Isaiah 55:12 NKJV
Surely there is much to celebrate! I have this amazing joy and peace from You! As we drove along yesterday, I felt that the mountains and the hills were worshipping You with their own song! I joined the trees in a round of applause in thanksgiving for all You have done!
You are so worthy of praise!
