I am listening. The world is still in these moments before the sun rises and I just wait to hear You....Word of God Speak...

"He said to them, "Do you bring in a lamp to put it under a bowl or a bed? Instead, don't you put it on its stand? For whatever is hidden is meant to be disclosed, and whatever is concealed is meant to be brought out into the open. If anyone has ears to hear, let them hear." "Consider carefully what you hear," he continued. "With the measure you use, it will be measured to you—and even more. Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.""
Mark 4:21-25 NIV
This is an unusual passage with some very different concepts that Jesus needed to have these followers consider. It's one that I have probably have passed over quickly as I've read through Mark but I feel I need to really take note!
Holy Spirit open my heart to be diligent to understand the meaning behind everything I hear or read in Your Word, for as I do, more understanding will be given to me. How special that according to the depth of my longing to understand, much more will be added to me! I sincerely want to listen to You and open my heart to receive more revelation. Stir my heart to be ready to receive from You in these quiet moments as I meditate on Your Word and may this continue all through the day. Holy Spirit bring to light all that I need to know and remember in order to serve You faithfully today.
