It's Me Again God 2

61. Flawless

It's me again God,

I have to admit that I have days where I'm disappointed in my performance, in my behaviour as Your child.  An accusing voice from the enemy tries to tell me I'm not good enough, I'm sinning in the same area again and You would not be happy with me. I am very thankful for the armour I have to wear that remind me that I have the breastplate of righteousness to protect me against such attacks. Thank You that Your Word is very clear about the righteousness I have:

"Our faith in Jesus transfers God's righteousness to us and he now declares us flawless in his eyes. This means we can now enjoy true and lasting peace with God, all because of what our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One, has done for us. Our faith guarantees us permanent access into this marvelous kindness that has given us a perfect relationship with God. What incredible joy bursts forth within us as we keep on celebrating our hope of experiencing God's glory!"

Thank You so much for the assurance that I am flawless in Your sight because of Jesus! I have permanent access to Your grace which gives me an ongoing, perfect relationship with You Father.  I can celebrate the hope that I will see You face to face in heaven! I praise You for the joy that You bring me each moment of the day, even in the midst of troubles!

"But that's not all! Even in times of trouble we have a joyful confidence, knowing that our pressures will develop in us patient endurance. And patient endurance will refine our character, and proven character leads us back to hope. And this hope is not a disappointing fantasy, because we can now experience the endless love of God cascading into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who lives in us! For when the time was right, the Anointed One came and died to demonstrate his love for sinners who were entirely helpless, weak, and powerless to save themselves."

Thank You for the patience that is developing in me as I go through times of trouble. Keep refining me Lord. I am so thankful that this  character building leads to hope and I can now experience Your endless love 'cascading' into my heart through the Holy Spirit who lives in me!

Thank You Jesus that You choose to die for me, showing Your great love as You took the punishment for every one of my sins. You saved me because there was no way I could have ever saved myself. Thank You for making me flawless! Thank You that I am clothed in Your righteousness!
