It's me again God,
It seems that in life I can go from one challenging situation to another, whether it's something that is touching me personally or weighing heavily on a friend or family member. There are so many things that I don't understand! Being at peace often seems like an impossible dream but then I remember Your Word on the topic:
"Don't be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life, then God's wonderful peace that transcends human understanding, will make the answers known to you through Jesus Christ."
Philippians 4:6-7 TPT
So really it's not that difficult! It's about surrendering to You every moment! It's letting You into everything that's happening in my life! I can do that —I can trust You. I can rely on You because You always keep Your promises:
"You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you."
Isaiah 26:3 NIV
You will stay true
Even when the lies come
Your word remains truth
Even when my thoughts don't line up
I will stand tall
On each promise You made
Let the rest fade away
There's a peace far beyond all understanding
May it ever set my heart at ease
Dare anxiety come, I'll remember that peace is a promise You keep
Peace is a promise You keep

Even in the chaos
Your word remains truth
Even when my mind wreaks havoc

What anxiety fails to remember is peace is a promise You keep

I've found peace far beyond all understanding
Let it flow when my mind's under siege
All anxiety bows in the presence of Jesus the Keeper of Peace
And peace is a promise He keeps
