It's me again God,
How precious it is to wake in the middle of the night and know that I can talk to You! There's no one else who would want to listen to me at this time. Thank You that I can pour out my heart to You!
I am so blessed to have YourWord and can see why You gave it to us. We need to know who You are, what You are like and receive reassurance on a regular basis. I love these words of the prophet Zephaniah who spoke of the intimacy we have in You:
"The LORD your God in your midst,
The Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing.""
Zephaniah 3:17 NKJV
Thank You Lord that You are not far away and aloof but right here in our midst! Your Holy Spirit dwells inside of me! You have saved me from my sins and illnesses! I am so grateful I don't have to bear them myself!
You are a God who takes great delight in Your children like a doting parent or grandparent, rejoicing over us! Wow, You celebrate and sing because of me! With Your love, You calm all my fears so I am quiet and filled with peace! There is no reason for me to lie awake worrying about a thing!
Thank You so much for Your stunning love that has changed my life so much and continues to impact me moment by moment!
All because You came Jesus,
