41. Fearfully and Wonderfully Made

It's me again God,

I praise You Lord for who You are and for hearing and answering my prayers yesterday—You did more than I could have imagined! Thank You that You have made us so incredibly special that we are able to reproduce and see new life coming into our families.

The miracle of birth reminds me of David's words to You:

"For You formed my inward parts;
You covered me in my mother's womb.
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvellous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.
My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.
And in Your book they all were written,
The days fashioned for me,
When as yet there were none of them."
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭139:13-16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

It's amazing to think that You know every single one of our days even before we live any of them!

"Every single moment you are thinking of me! How precious and wonderful to consider that you cherish me constantly in your every thought! O God, your desires toward me are more than the grains of sand on every shore! When I awake each morning, you're still with me."
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭139:17-18‬ ‭TPT‬‬

How precious it is to see a newborn and think of how wonderfully You have made them. How reassuring it is that You cherish them so much —even more than doting parents and grandparents! Thank You for being with me every day since my birth and for thinking of me throughout my whole life! Thank You for Your great love:

"For you have been my hope,
Sovereign Lord, my confidence since my youth.
From birth I have relied on you;
you brought me forth from my mother's womb.
I will ever praise you. I
have become a sign to many;
you are my strong refuge.
My mouth is filled with your praise,
declaring your splendor all day long."

You are so good! My heart is overflowing with praise for You this morning!

"Worship the Lord with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
Know that the Lord is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations."
