It's me again God,

Some things are hard to understand —why people have to suffer loss, trauma and terrible illnesses would be among the top questions that come to mind quite frequently.  There are many in our world who suffer because of their faith in You but Paul provides reassurance about this:

"I am convinced that any suffering we endure is less than nothing compared to the magnitude of glory that is about to be unveiled within us. The entire universe is standing on tiptoe, yearning to see the unveiling of God's glorious sons and daughters!"
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:18-19‬ ‭TPT‬‬

This totally turns things around! I am so looking forward to seeing the magnitude of glory that will be unveiled when Jesus comes again! My heart still goes out to all who suffer but at least we have the hope that there is an end to all of this.

"For against its will the universe itself has had to endure the empty futility resulting from the consequences of human sin. But now, with eager expectation, all creation longs for freedom from its slavery to decay and to experience with us the wonderful freedom coming to God's children. To this day we are aware of the universal agony and groaning of creation, as if it were in the contractions of labor for childbirth."
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:20-22‬ ‭TPT‬‬

I have not really considered how creation is also waiting for an end to the decay brought about by man's sin in the garden of Eden. Creation is groaning, waiting with us for the return of Your Son!

"And it's not just creation. We who have already experienced the firstfruits of the Spirit also inwardly groan as we passionately long to experience our full status as God's sons and daughters—including our physical bodies being transformed. For this is the hope of our salvation. But hope means that we must trust and wait for what is still unseen. For why would we need to hope for something we already have? So because our hope is set on what is yet to be seen, we patiently keep on waiting for its fulfillment."
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:23-25‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Thank You that as Your beloved child, there is still so much to come for me when I leave this place and go to meet You! Then I will have reached my full status! As my body ages, I look forward to being physically transformed —this is the hope of salvation! In the meantime, I trust and wait, knowing that one day what is unseen will finally be revealed. I will wait patiently while enjoying the wonderful benefits of my salvation here on earth.

Until You come again Jesus,
Amen.
