99. Do it Again

It's me again God,

A new day is here and I am so glad to know that nothing is impossible with You! Every difficult situation that arises is another opportunity for me to see You at work.  I will take every problem to You because You are the one who can change things. Thank You for caring about every detail of my life just as you cared for the deaf and mute man:

"Then Jesus left the vicinity of Tyre and went through Sidon, down to the Sea of Galilee and into the region of the Decapolis. There some people brought to him a man who was deaf and could hardly talk, and they begged Jesus to place his hand on him. After he took him aside, away from the crowd, Jesus put his fingers into the man's ears. Then he spit and touched the man's tongue. He looked up to heaven and with a deep sigh said to him, "Ephphatha!" (which means "Be opened!" ). At this, the man's ears were opened, his tongue was loosened and he began to speak plainly. Jesus commanded them not to tell anyone. But the more he did so, the more they kept talking about it. People were overwhelmed with amazement. "He has done everything well," they said. "He even makes the deaf hear and the mute speak.""
‭‭Mark‬ ‭7:31-37‬ ‭NIV‬‬

How amazing it must have been to be released from such a terrible disability! You healed this man completely and he didn't require further therapy in order to speak! You took care of it all!  Complete healing is possible for me too, with nothing held back!

I can imagine that it must have been very hard to keep something like this to yourself but I can understand why Jesus was trying to keep his miraculous healings under wraps for a while. He knew that the teachers of the law would be out to question the authority of miracles.  Jesus knew in advance what was coming but He couldn't stop Himself from loving people and having great compassion.

I am overwhelmed with amazement at how You are working in my life and in the lives of those around me who testify to Your healing power today.  Things have changed and now we need to be ready to tell others about the ways You are working in our lives because there are many people who don't believe the miraculous is still possible! I know You will do it again....and again...and again!

I will never forget how You spoke to me through Your Word three years ago and assured me that "The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree and grow like a cedar of Lebanon." (Psalm 92:12) You reminded me that I am righteous because of Jesus' death and resurrection —all my sins are forgiven! Consequently, I will not remain sick with a chronic illness but will flourish just like a palm tree, reaching toward the heavens in thanksgiving! I will grow like a cedar of Lebanon with my roots going down deep to the Rock —Jesus Christ, so prevailing storms will not bother me! The cedar's branches intertwine with the branches of other cedars and so they stay strong together —a beautiful picture of how I stay strong as I fellowship with other Christians. We stay strong together and build one another up in the faith as we testify of how You are working in our lives. I have seen you move mountains and I know I will see You do it again Lord!

I rejoice because all of this is possible because You came Jesus!
Hallelujah! Amen.
