It's me again God,

I praise You and thank You for all of Your blessings! You are always at work behind the scenes in our lives, makings things work together for our good. You care so much about us and have great compassion on us. This is the way You have always been and we saw it when Jesus was here:

"The apostles gathered around Jesus and reported to him all they had done and taught. Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, "Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest." So they went away by themselves in a boat to a solitary place. But many who saw them leaving recognized them and ran on foot from all the towns and got there ahead of them. When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he began teaching them many things."
‭‭Mark‬ ‭6:30-34‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Jesus, Your heart is for those who don't know You or listen to Your voice. Even though You must have been tired after ministering to people's needs and needing some down time with Your disciples, You saw the people and had compassion! Thank You that You cared so deeply about me when I was unsaved and lovingly pursued me and taught me.

Another thing I noticed from this passage was the way people were so drawn to You —they were eager to hear what You had to say and they wanted to see You perform miracles. I believe that people today are still searching for answers about life's big questions and many just need to hear the saving truth of the gospel. I pray for my relatives and friends who are heading in the wrong direction. May they seek You with all their heart and find You. May the truth set them free and enable them to come into Your family. Use me and may they see Jesus in me. Use me for Your glory.

In Jesus' Name,
Amen
