PHASE 27 - CORNERING THE BIG BAD WOLF

The Black Cross Mansion hall is now polluted with metallic clashes and echoing roars. Those tentacle monsters with three feet and mouths already made their move. Gate Guardians are already fighting with these horrors called Young Ones, which are monsters from Lovecraftian myth.

“Those things… They are made up of pure prana. I’m pretty sure they are not summoned. They are created by a certain spell.” Eliseo said as he scanned upon the swarms of monsters.

Kristoff gave out his daughter to Naomi. “My dear, get to a safe place and hide until the battle is over.”

“Eliseo and Drex, lead the weaklings away from here and protect them at all cost.” Rikkun said with his cold words. I think the term ‘weakling’ is unnecessary…

“Roger that, homie!” , “Will do, Ric-ric!” Drex and Eliseo saluted. Then they went out of the scene with Naomi and her baby, and the other Gate Guardians who are unable to fight.

“Kristoff you go too.” Rikkun said in a worried tone. “You know you have that death flag coming for you.”

“Don’t worry about me. Worry about the fight, Alaric.” Kristoff said with a smile as he materialized his bow.

“Stubborn as ever.” Rikkun laughed. Then he turned to me. “How about you, Tiara? You’re quite exhausted. I think you have to rest first.”

“No.” I shook my head. “I’ll help you in this fight.”

Rikkun just made a satisfied smile at me.

And then we all turned to the enemy on top of the stage. Void Wolf’s glare gave off a piercing red light from the eye sockets of his skull mask.

Rikkun, I, Heushac, Key, and Kristoff. We are the original members of the Aether Crusade, and we will finally face our oldest enemy: Lironeo Amerigus, AKA Void Wolf.

This will be our last chance to avenge Helena.

“<God Core: Freyr Ascension>!!!” Rikkun transformed into a seven-footer adult white man with long golden hair. He’s now covered with silver-and-gold coated armor with a blue cape! He’s now the God of Kings and Handsomeness!

“<Evo Transformation Complete>!!!” Heushac powered up as he was equipped with Key’s exoskeleton armor! His silver wings boosted, enabling him of fast flight!

“<Fire Blade>, Set!!!” Kristoff coated his bow with pure fire energy!

Since everyone has powered up, I will do it too! With determination, I will never give up!

“Hnnnngh!!!” I cried. But my <Silver Fox Mode> won’t activate! Now I look like a disgusting woman suffering from constipation!

Actually, one tiny fluffy fox tail popped on my back. I nearly forgot that I haven’t replenished my energy yet.

“You take a rest first. Charge up your prana.” Freyr’s compassionate emerald eyes glanced at me. “I’ll protect you until you’re ready.”

Rikkun/Lord Freyr materialized his sword that has a brown stag-horn hilt. He stabbed it on the ground.

“<Merlin’s Garden>!!!”  

Colorful flowers spawned around us and gave me a soothing sensation. Those lilies and roses started to unleash glowing pollens that swirled around me. For some reason, I feel like my energy is quickly being replenished.
